Mod Feedback [By Request] RotaryCraft Suggestions

I'll make sure to double check in a few hours as I can't remember just forge, I know in the process of testing several things including Java 6, 7, and 8 and which combinations cause it that it was definitely linked to RotaryCraft though, removing it would totally consistently at least fix the...

    [1.7.10] Inflation Before Power Modpack v1.0.5 {Who knew energy would be such a pain?}

Disabling rotarycraft integration with AOBD should fix it, you should be able to just do it all at once by setting rotarycraft to false in the recipes section.

Mod Feedback [By Request] RotaryCraft Suggestions

So question for anybody who reads this thread, there's a really weird bug I encountered that seems to be OS specific. If anyone else uses a mac could you test an instance with just Dragon API and RotaryCraft? When I do it all the fonts and vanilla textures are totally screwy so if the main menu...

    [ 1.7.10 ] SIEGED [ JamPacked2 ] [ HQM | Reikas ]

Update their mods, really that's the way. The update tracker was changed to make it easier to deal with in response to criticism but that wasn't added till after the versions this pack has so to make it go away your best bet is to update the mods.

Did you empower it? Should just have to hit v or something but it can be turned on and off so it doesn't always convert and defaults to off.

So use a reactor better suited for it, for example just from randomly trying some stuff I can get 63 thorium cells into a stable reactor which cuts that time by two thirds. Code is a8h8kf2nik46st9y0g7e3qpzjdfz8zc2yno98f3bzxwa8whptjs027uka0cmt5g46bznb06rn7ctw5c I'm sure with effort you could...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

Yep, the way the thirsty tank works is that technically there is no generate water action, how it works is the pump action when used while adjacent to a water source block will just not consume any water from the world, it's otherwise identical to normal pumping with the tank. Technically it is...

Then stop using reservoirs, they produce 1 bucket/second. The tier up from them is thirsty tank + guzzler glyphs which with a max of 6 glyphs produce 10 buckets/second. So replacing your reservoirs with thirsty tanks would drop it down to only being the size of a single reservoir for space and...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

That's why I asked about how it goes when you're not trying to get a high efficiency rate with tons of resources sunk in because of it, I was just wondering if you knew. I can try in some hours but not right now, I'll do it when I get the chance though. Because I was asking about how like 70% or...

Pretty much only refer to GT turbines and specify each time, basically just look at the end. I attempted to work out if large GT steam turbines are useful, they're not as even the very best ones are barely a quarter as efficient as BR turbines. Hmm, you've done way more pneumaticraft then me...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

So I had a random thought, there is an alternative way to the large heat exchangers to produce copious amounts of steam, that being big reactors obviously. Now the issue with needing absurd amounts of water still applies but that's actually bearable, while I can't remember if transfer nodes have...

    Mod Mechanics you like/don't like

Actually there is in-game instructions similar to the first ritual for the upgraded sigil, NEI when checking on the stabilized sigil tells you to sneak right click on a beacon with an active sigil so it's not like there's no clues, when you do that in the overworld it tells you that there is too...

So 20,000L per second of superheated steam? That's a normal tungstensteel turbine isn't it? and that produces normal steam which can be put through another normal tungstensteel turbine? Because that does sound like it would produce a ton of energy yeah.

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

What about large heat exchanger and a large turbine? The large turbines can beat out the efficiency of a railcraft turbine with the better metals, no idea if you'll be able to produce enough steam to run that though.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Won't work, the painting machine needs an actual block to copy the texture off and carpenter's blocks just fake it. That and you can't actually pick up the block without the one it's copying popping out and ender io won't copy transparent ones.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Is there a block with the stone slab texture? I want it for decorative purposes with my travel anchors but the painting machine only accepts blocks.

That could be worth doing, it's disabled though because GT has their own solar panels and those are enabled. At least the most basic one is enabled.

Wrong, 462k EU with amplifier is the amount just spent making UU. You also have to account for the various other machines such as the cost of making the dirt, centrifuging it, and then electrolyzing the clay to get the actual cost of getting the dusts. That whole process adds 126k EU for...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

Note that the numbers get massively better if instead of UU matter you use a farm, as you'd be needing something to create the amplifier anyway making a farm for it should be easy, the full and total numbers for it. 7 Clay Dust in Electrolyser = 1 Lithium + 2 Aluminium for 18,480 EU 18 Dirt in...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

So move the topic to a more relevant portion, RTGs vs solar panels. Personally I consider solar panels generally superior, while they're significantly more complex to create requiring a greater variety of resources RTGs have that massive reliance on plutonium veins for scale as mentioned. So why...
