No using Mining Well to pick up the mining pipes. Just break the pump, and place Mining Well instead of it, power it up, and whoosh.... Mining Pipes picked up.

Best to pick up the mining pipes is to use Mining Well from BC, it digs straight down and it is fairly fast.
