[1.7.10] Survival industry [rotarycraft based tech]

Does that include when it has no incoming power? The main reason, after tinkering around for a bit, I don't have the redstone logic turning off the coil directly is because I couldn't figure out how to fully drain it before re-engaging the powering up, so instead I've just made a safety shutoff...

Been using that for a while, yeah. Thinking of making a dedicated grinder + steam generator + 4:1 gearbox (made of diamond so I don't ever have to worry about it getting damaged once I've put lube in it: I found out the hard way even a 1% damage makes this combo useless) at the start of my...

I feel embarrassed it took me over a day to come up with the idea of making a second extractor. With two gas engines through a 2:1 gearbox, I can run the first and fourth stages just fine (and plus they don't need water, even simpler infrastructure). I have ethanol semi-automated (I still grind...

The redstone comparator outputs the state of the coil. The redstone line goes beneath the floor in the background and comes back out in the foreground, 14 blocks later. On the other side of the block it ends on is a redstone torch, under the clutch. The clutch is kept open by the torch, and thus...

So the blast furnace won't melt if I make it super hot? Okay, cool. Guess I just need to reroute my power all into a friction heater and blast furnace, because I want to start making hydro power.

I don't want to have to go in and reset the output settings every time I'm done charging it. Turning off the clutch is super easy, the clutch is cheap, and it means I don't have to worry about the block sides of the coil: I need two sides for input and output, two sides for redstone input and...

It's not a bedrock coil. I'm currently at the "Use my AC engines to charge a steel industrial coil to run an extractor and try to get some tungsten" level of RC. I've rebuilt in creative, but still experimenting with redstone trying to get a good shutoff valve. I've got a RC clutch in front of...

I turn my back on my industrial coil for ~one second~.... Al my machines, all my ethanol crystals, three stacks of iron ore waiting to be processed by the now nonexistent extractor.... :(

What converter would best power AE stuff? The rotary RF machine?

I wish Rotarycraft was better documented in-game. For example: What's a good magnet level for a shaft core intended for an AC engine? What's the difference between the steel and diamond shaft cores? I'd imagine, logically, that you couldn't magnetize diamonds because it's not metal, but I'd also...

Here's a screenshot of Nikolite in the immediate area of my nether gate: http://i.imgur.com/61uIoQ0.png Also, a bug (maybe?), Signalum can't be made. There's two different names for redstone in the smeltery, destabilized redstone and liquid redstone. Signalum's alloy recipe calls for the...

Yeah. Was that a recent patch? I generated a small area of the nether before the most recent update. I still see stuff like Nikolite and Adamantium venturing beyond it, though.

Just rotarycraft. I find Extra Utilities stuff to be cumbersome to craft (easy to set up once made, but complicated to make), and I haven't made a TD based setup in over a year. There's a lot of ores in the nether that don't seem to have any use. Adamantium, Amber, Rutile, Nikolite, etc...

[1.7.10] Survival industry [rotarycraft based tech]

I got my Rotarycraft setup going, on a beginner level: Enough to power a grinder and get lube, create ethanol crystals, and build a gasoline engine and a rock melter. I can't get the contents of the rock melter out, though. It flows into connected pipes, but won't leave those pipes. I've tried a...

Ah, okay. I didn't know that wasn't just random luck when it happened to get me over Stone level the first time. Thanks :)

The bronze pickaxe head says it's mining level tin, same as the invar one I'm currently using.

Could someone give me a hint as to get past Tin mining level to Redstone? I was planning on Lumium, but my smeltery can't melt glowstone until I have blazing pyrotheum. I'm getting Rotarycraft set up now (very slowly, I've never used it before) to eventually get its melter thing, but was...

Which of the mods in this pack adds the Fatigue system, and how do I manage it? There has to be, like, better beds or coffee that works or something, right? Because as is I need to sleep every five minutes, and the time multiplier from Somnia doesn't make the fatigue tick down faster, meaning I...

    [1.7.10] The Ferret Business [WIP][BQ + HQM, 500+ Quests][v 0.2.6]

Have a bug with Pneumatic Craft: The PC seeds are supposed to be different kinds of plastics based on type, but they seem to give some random plastic of any type instead. I think it might be a dictionary thing? IDK. Sorry if this has already been reported. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the...

    Left Behind - Mars Survival...thoughts?

Can you find in the config files how enviromine adds temperatures to vanilla things? I remember in the book temperature was a big thing, mostly when he was traveling, and used a nuclear core. You could have a retextured and renamed lava bucket, or custom item via minetweaker, that behaves...
