What IP are you using to connect to it? Can you try connecting with localhost?

I believe that shit happens because of using liquid transfer nodes and transfer pipes (at least with these) to fill the barrels. Something goes bonkers there, and the barrels are "over-filled" as in you can take multiple buckets of witch water out without refilling them
