    I'm thinking a bit differently as of late than i used to, i mean: minecraft is huge! i want to make huge factories! but just jumping the tiers with better power generators instaid of building huge amounts of lower power (inefficient, tho efficient in this modpack i guess hehe) is a bit sad imo...

    The problem with my suggestion is there may be few options so everybody has to do the same thing to get to the highest tech tier and if it is done to gregtech that would make other mod's power generation effectively useless after MV or something, though i don't know how much you guys are...

    That might be the problem, the different voltages are just 4 times higher (linear) what if it was exponental instaid? the only difference is the last tier which is max which is crazy. so 32 volt => 1024 volts => 1 Megavolt => 1,1 Teravolt, the next tier being exponential makes it like sometimes...

    I tried with spruce planks on a vanilla crafting table and it doesn't work, japanese maple wood planks doesn't work either, so i guess several of the vanilla wooden slabs cannot be crafted without tools. Same story with ExtrabiomesXL, needs saw.

    MY treefarm is using cypress logs and saplings but hasn't crashed but that said: I cannot make cypress slabs the old way with cypress, i need vanilla minecraft wooden planks for that, i need to start growing greatwood instaid, i just have no idea where all my greatwood saplings went haha...

    I don't like the loud noice GT has on crafting with tools, especially on forestry crafting tables, it repeats and stacks extremely fast, bursting my ears, hate it!

    I have barely touched IC2 stuff, the crops seems complicated with crops scanners etc, growing my nether warts from just one wart will probably take ages, guess i'll just have to explore a bit more in the nether. I explored for antimony and i found it eventually, this is just another challenge :)
