    @MigukNamja Ive been using your java args for a few sessions now, i just hit a snag shortly after i made the screenshot above - my system ran out of memory. Thats never happened before, but i suspect its an issue with the pipes - normally when i run out of memory im sent to the dirt screen.

    Ravines are still your friend, but only if you rendered your world with extrabiomes. For some reason the ravines that got rendered in my BOP world, even the ones pretty far underground were absolute garbage.     i assume this is done by swapping an input casing around? I found it at the floor of a ravine underground, about the same height that you start to find small redstone at.

    Yup, it was very helpful, thank you :D And i found my first uranium ore (uraninite) - do i need special tools to mine it? i remember @SpwnX having a cautionary tale somewhere earlier in the thread about not mining any kind of uranium without hazmat?
