shouldnt be a problem. as i heard, you can easily replace the server jar with a bukkit jar, as long as you install forge properly

have you ever tried to remove the mods one by one, to check if one of them causes the problems? like this: 1. removing ic2 2. starting server 3. problem still happens 4. shutting down the server 5. deleting buildcraft 6. starting server 7. problem still happens 4. shutting down the server ...

those dont sound like mods ... they rather sound like bukkit plugins. if so, you hvae to get a bukkit jar, not a regular minecraft_server.jar then put those into the "plugins" folder created by bukkit ... configure them correctly and they should work

Well, it looks as nice or bad as any other 2gb server ... But there is no information of the actual performance, which (i guess) depends on the CPU. I already noticed a while ago that minecraft kinda transformed from a ram monster to a cpu monster, and no serverhoster gives detailed information...
