I have played around a bit but have not managed to get any of the mods I have tried to work. It may be because I am new to Forge.

I am trying to get
LWC
Dynamap
and
an economy mod (haven't chosen one yet)

I have tried following the mod's install directions but it did not work on my server. It is probably something simple but it seems to escape me.

Thanks in advance for the help.

those dont sound like mods ...
they rather sound like bukkit plugins.

if so, you hvae to get a bukkit jar, not a regular minecraft_server.jar
then put those into the "plugins" folder created by bukkit ...
configure them correctly
and they should work

At the moment I am using ftbserver.jar

If I am able to use bukkit.jar and still have access to everything FTB has to offer then that will be awesome.

shouldnt be a problem. as i heard, you can easily replace the server jar with a bukkit jar, as long as you install forge properly

I installed craftbukkit, and changed the jar file to bukkit. Everything from FTB instantly dissapeared from my server. Thankfully thats what backups are for.

looks like you didnt install forge, as i told you to.
The issue is that I figured forge was correctly installed since FTB worked. Nothing was said about downloading and installing a certain version of forge, so I had no idea that it what I needed to do.

On the plus side, bukkit and FTB are playing nice together. On the down side LWC refuses to work. I have tried both the mods and plugins folder.
I have tried the 1.4.6 and all three 1.5.0 builds.

Use the normal ftb jar and put bukkitforge in coremods, worked for me :) Economy and everything in a plugins folder!

Reccomend you use MCPC+ Legacy instead. It boosts preformance and uses less resources. For example it adds a Feature that blocks people from logging in if they are flagged as unsafe (Not enabled by default, Config Option) Also chunk loading is processed over several ticks rather than one so the world loads faster and it lags the server less when doing so[DOUBLEPOST=1367604224][/DOUBLEPOST]And any other feature in a thing called Spigot

I currently am running bukkitforge and FTB. I am hesitant to make any changes in my production domain. Will I need to install anything apart from replacing the ftbserver.jar with the legacy MCPC / renaming legacy MCPC to ftbserver.jar? I do not want to have to go through a restore.
