My managed farm does not plant/replant.

I also can't find the error in your setup. It looks pretty much like the ones I had when I last used a multifarm to grow wheat (in 1.6.2). Forestry has not received much development attention in a long time - mostly because SirSengir is fed up with the attitude of the community (he went and...

    Engines not outputting enough power

Your engine is overheating because you have it directly attached to the pump. Never directly attach Buildcraft compatible engines to any device if you cannot avoid it. The only exception here are redstone engines, which cannot overheat. Why shouldn't you attach engines directly? Because...

one thing that always kills my mood to playing

No they're not. The OP's description is pretty much the picture book definition of chunk leaking. But you seem fairly convinced of Opis' allmight, so I'll just drop the issue here and wish you good luck with your future server administration endeavours.

one thing that always kills my mood to playing

Nope. It monitors tile entities. I.e. blocks like a hopper, a buildcraft pipe, a macerator, a chest etc. If a tile entity is eating more calculation time than it should, Opis will show you. However, tile entities are a mere fraction of what's required to tick the world. And then there is stuff...

Industrialization v0.0.1 alpha: Less magic blocks, more giant awesome structures

Frankly, I'll happily take a performance-hungry mod if it does something cool. I didn't build a 16GB memory, 4.2 GHz Haswell quadcore desktop system to be a miser about entities and redstone activation! :p

one thing that always kills my mood to playing

Actually Opis only detects one out of many different causes of tick lag. If it's not the cause of your lag, Opis does nothing whatsoever. It's great at what it was designed to do, but "what it was designed to do" is in no way, shape or form a universal lag detector. Imagine Opis as a first aid...

Did you actually read the OP's post...?

I'd like to pick a few brains

Good to hear that it worked out for you! Personally I encountered only one strange issue, namely with Thaumcraft. After chopping down Silverwood trees that contain nodes, MCPC+ doesn't seem to correctly remember the fact that these nodes get removed. Then on next startup, it spits out a bunch of...

Going to earmark this for a closer look once I get home from work.

    [IC2 Exp] Base setups?

Yeah honestly, transformers. I still hook all my machines up in a line, just as I have always done. The only difference is that I now make sure that I input no more than 128 EU/t into that line (outputting from a CESU or routing through a MV transformer). Some machines like the induction...

one thing that always kills my mood to playing

Take a look at the post I just made here: http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/id-like-to-pick-a-few-brains.39203/ Particularly the bit about chunk leaking and JVM profiling.

I'd like to pick a few brains

I've profiled my world with JVisualVM as well, and there's something regarding conduits (and itemducts and fluiducts) you should know: they show up so high in Opis and profilers because they are essentially multiblocks. A branching energy network of 100 conduits will show up and tick as a single...

Dumb Tricks - Dumb/OP Mod Interactions Edition

What, after all this time people are still surprised about cross-mod exploits in MFR? :D Makes me want to post that "you must be new here" meme, but it's kinda condescending and that's not what I want to express. The trouble with MFR is that the author isn't interested in what happens if you...

An idiot on an adventure to build a Nuclear Reactor

I agree with Vtecem's assessment. The fuel rods are ticking so the reactor should be producing something. Also note that if you play on 1.6 with IC2 Experimental, the EU reader is broken and won't show anything because the e-net is in the middle of being reworked. In that case, doublecheck in...

An idiot on an adventure to build a Nuclear Reactor

I like your design! You definitely put a lot of effort into making it both safe and authentic. Thankfully, in this day and age we have this beautiful thread that'll get anyone started on uranium reactor designs for 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6.The running cost calculations are somewhat outdated, so choose...

    My final position on "balance."

I am a so-called "balance advocate", by your definition. I obsess over adjusting meaningless things in config files. I judge and choose mods based on my own understanding of difficulty, sense of progression and cross-mod interaction. I have a very clear opinion of what should and should not be...

    Question about Breeder Reactors.

This design doesn't need anything replenished. It has no running cost. None whatsoever. Unless you also want to automate the inserting and removing of uranium cells and depleted/re-enriched isotopes. For that you can use any normal solution that allows for filtered input/output, such as Applied...

    Question about Breeder Reactors.

Breeders are easy to build. You basically surround an uranium cell with four depleted cells, add a cooling system able to dissipate exactly as much heat as that generates, and optionally add a stack of heating cells that keeps the temperature up even when the breeding finishes or the uranium...

    Question about Breeder Reactors.

Why do you need to use condensators to operate a breeder reactor in the first place? o_O

    Forestry breeding not working

Works in any biome. You just need the requirements for the mutation to occur. The Sipiri is different, it also has special growth requirements. The sapling won't even do anything outside a vanilla jungle biome.
