If all you want is monsters to go bye-bye, then get the banish spell from AM2. Why fight when you can 1-cast them to the nether?

They'll spawn a bunch if it's an eternal daylight world, or if other hostile mobs can't spawn. My mining age is overfull as well....it's fun to herd them like cattle.

I'm still a huge fan of Blood armor; full armor rating, and your LP network takes the damage from 99% of the bosses in game. (AM2 bosses bypass the armor, notably the Nature guardian. That guy sucks.) Enchant the 4 pieces with Nightvision, resistance to fire, resist fall damage, and boost2...

You can, though I've only been able to get Smite V and Knockback 2 from my Tartarite enchanter to stick on it. (just an FYI, you can enchant ALL the bound tools....blood pick with fortune 3 in beast mode is glorious)

I've had some lag from lava in tanks, but that's the only fluid that has given me any grief. But again, YMMV.

Totems to cleanse taint springs to mind....or spread it, if that's your thing.

Totally missed the comment above on bonemeal. My fault there. I would love synergy between blood magic and this totem idea....would be very cool (and on a personal note, I love when modders work with each other to create special functionality between mods).

Totem ideas; Creeper totem - slowly mines out a 5 x 5 area directly beneath the totem (use with the magnet totem?) Wheat totem - pulses a bonemeal effect to a 5 x5 area surrounding it. Pick totem - Gives the mining speed boost Squid totem - water breathing Ender Totem - acts like a Magnum torch...

Can use those blast-resistant blocks from ICx? That should work...I think. (my server has mob block destruction disabled...think the Host had a creeper touch him in his naughty place at some point, so I'm working off memory from 1.5.2 SSP.)

Openblocks tanks are indeed portable and stackable to 64. 16 buckets x 64 tanks = 1024 buckets for each inventory slot.

This. Having a few tanks with fluiducts allows you to move molten metal back and forth, if more pressing needs arise...or if you've got "scraps" that you don't want to destroy, but aren't enough to make a block/ingot. That is my current smeltery setup, hope it makes my explanation clearer...

They won't port unless there's a player visible and on their agro table. With no one on the hate table, they'll just stand there, taking damage.

I use AM2 heal spells to "regen". Made a t4 blood orb with sacrifice runes, stabbing myself, and heal spells on my first trip through. There's more than one way to skin an enderman =)
