Have you looked at DC1.6? It's been rebalanced a LOT.. there are still some things that are a WIP, but it is no longer the SUPAH OP!!! that it used to be.

Just use the Resonant Rise pack on the superior ATLauncher.

AE has some nice sparkly glass... looks like shit in vanilla textures but looks pretty awesome with faithful. Also, adding a couple of glowstone to it makes it emit light, bonus! And TiCo glass is sexy as hell.

read up, Immibis states that TiCo and ExtraUtil is also doing this. I suspect in part this thread has been made because the mod that is being automatically downloaded is in direct competition with one of the thread creators own mods, and the two are not at all compatible with one another..

if it's essential for that mod to work... then sure. But Forge is essential for all of our mods to work, and that doesn't come automatically downloaded with any other mods... idk... Maybe "Requires X to work" would be better

I'm guessing that this is sort of aimed at Project Red's download automatically downloading Forge Multipart?

the power to move items in AE is next to nothing compared to the power required to pulverise/smelt lead, pulverise obsidian, and induction smelt them together. Metallurgy lets you edit all different ore gens.. not just iron

I build a small shack or dig into the side of a hill to make my first base while I accumulate enough resources for my "project" or "final base" I consider myself out of the early game when I can pop ores in a chest and have ingots come out the other end.

I did something similar to get rid of all the annoying UB cobble types. Used a fuzzy export bus to get all the cobble into a single chest, from there it was piped out through a dartcraft forcepipe that compressed it once, then through another forcepipe that decompressed it into regular vanilla...

thats all well and good, but tesseracts are literally the least laggiest form of item/liquid transport available. Making them super expensive will make people just gravitate towards cheaper, laggier alternatives and then complain when their worlds are crawling

FTB needs to update their launcher, they're apparently making a completely new one and it's taking a large amount of time. When that's done, you can expect a 1.6 modpack with TC4. In the meantime, I suggest you download the ATLauncher and the Resonant Rise pack, it has TC4
