    why monster has missing mods?

    a public modpack should be based on balance... yeah morph CAN be fun, but there are a lot of mods that are fun and don't break the balance of other mods. Morph should never be in a modpack by default, ever.

    awkward thing is.. if you remove mariculture now, all their worldgen will just be replaced by air.. which for ore isn't drastically horrible.. but for kelp... that's NOT good.

    I get blocklag, not sure if it's Mari or ATG, or that my java arguments are crummy Also, for me at least, it's not a framerate issue at all, its just a delay between my input and what happens

    Peaceful is fine when you're in a test world, testing mods and builds and whatnot.. but for a serious play world... nah, peaceful doesn't do it for me (I have it on easy)

    Oh I know that.. and theres nothing wrong with that... but that doesn't mean I have to understand those people :P

    Is it better that mod blocks are not *too* realistic?

    I believe it differs depending on what the block is.. On one hand, I agree, Illuminators look much better than Bibliolamps But on the other, Mekanism Wind Turbines look infinitely better than IC2 wind turbines.

    I don't really understand Hardcore mode.. the whole point of MC for me is building on what I have and if I lost it all because of a death (which I do often) I'd be pissed!

    if you use chisel's chisel, you can freely convert them from one to the other. Pretty neato :D

    I know, which is why it's usually better to start with a large modpack (or large universal configs, like what Velotican did for FTB back in their 1.4.7/1.5.2 days when all their configs were different for each pack) RR is one of the largest, which is why I start there.. the only mod I add to it...
