You know that you can actually breed horses in vanilla. They already have different stats in terms of health, speed and jump height. There just isn't an easy way to check horses stats. With that and your other points a "BetterHorses" mod would be awesome!

Another thing you could do is disable TiC/Natura, generate the world a bit or use some pre-gen method and then enable the mods again. Sure, you'll get island spawns, but they would be miles away.

I found a bug which makes it able to dupe xp. And I'm trying not to use it to often... Is there a way to turn xp into stuff? Like power?

Yeah. Like the others said, I suggest you first play some unmodded minecraft to learn its mechanics. Then you can hop into mods.

Well, this is cool, but I don't really see in a point in having 4(?) kind of barrels from different mobs. I mean, normal factorization ones work just fine for me.

Whiteboxes from I believe OpenBlocks do that. And itemframes will in Vanilla 1.7 :P

I don't think that's quite the same, since the nether exists, it just doesn't load properly. I did this a few times myself and it send me to the nether, just how it's supposed to be. My nether was preloaded from a normal portal tho.

Well, this is one interesting problem.

Let's imagine this situation: You've got a world, and you have some kind of mod installed which adds another dimension. Let's say Twilight Forest. What would happen if you travelled to the twilight, and then you would remove the Twilight forest mod and load up the world again. This is different...

True. For example lots of its stuff needs goldnuggests, but you can use Tinkers to get some. Just smelt down gold armor, which you should always have plenty of. I'll find a way :P
