[Solved] Stuck in creative mode in sever

I built a world in single player. Then moved it over to my sever. But I am stuck in creative mode. Changed game mode to 0. But still in. Can't get the nei to come up only the creative mode menu.

Are you actually in creative or do you just have the creative items UI? In the lower left corner should be an OPTIONS button. One of the options in there is to change the NEI mode. You probably want the recipe mode.

Yes my sever checked the sever setting ok there. Other people on the server don't have the problem. I deleted my player .dat file as well.

Can you use other op commands?

What if you enter /gamemode 1 then try to leave creative?

Have them op you for a few moments to turn creative mode off in NEI, I have had this issue before,to fix it once you are opped open a chest and then press the creative button to off

I know this problem
I wanted to spawn every player on a specific spot on our server when starting. So i copyed my players\<playername>.dat file and renamed it for every player.
Problem was that i was in creative mode. So even if players where not op they could use creative mode. Setting /gamemode <playername> 0 was only short term, when the re logged they where back at creative mode.
So i deleted there player.dat file. Still the same problem but in this case it was NEI which thought they where still in creative mode and switching them back (even if they where not op)
I think the Fix was: Set NEI to normal mode, log out. Delete player.dat file.

OK this was 1.4.7 but i gave me a lot of headache

Woah what a coincidence! I've had the exact same problem on the server I'm on for the last couple of weeks. I managed to get out of it by doing /gm 2 ( adventure mode), and then back to 0, but that only solved it until i logged off and then on again! Then I, just by accident, hit the creative key in NEI when I was deleting some stuff. And BAM, problem solved!
Now, 2 hours later when I'm about to go to sleep and randomly browses the forums one last time, I find this!

You guys are disturbing my sleep routines!
