I like extrabiomesEL by far. It add's in a lot of nice biomes but don't go insainly overboard like say with biomes'o'plenty. With BOP I end up disabling most of the biomes as some are just 'what' and look very out of place. Yet it also has some stunning biomes as well, but still EBEL is my top pick.

I would go with the DW20 modpack, as it's more like the older packs. The newer packs are aimed to newer mods made and at times, like with monster you get mods that don't really go well together, don't make sense together, and just flat out become OP together. DW20's pack is far more balanced...

DW20 for sure, it don't have -everything- like extra bees and trees, but you can download said mod and add it to it with no issue.

What also irks me... Items you cant craft, and have to be lucky to find in dungeon chests. As a resource pack maker, HARD CODED COLORS and UNWANTED COLOR OVERLAYS. My poor sugercane... the swamp and it's ugly muddy green.. T.T

I'll ask again, does anyone know where the .jar is for minecraft in the DW20 modpack? I want to see if I can run it through MCPATCHER to get the connective textures and better skies, randommobs and so on for my lets play.

I re-built and expanded a village that burned down due to a badly spawned surface lava pool after draining said lava into tanks to use for energy.
