Trust me, no ocean is infinite. Very big yes, but in no way infinite. Tools like http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/626786- can allow you to map out (default) biomes, and you can see while oceans are big, they by no means go on forever.

Don't care about the not playing bit and having it stop. But if I wana pump lava from the nether into a tank in the over world, can a chunk loader in ssp keep said nether chunbks loaded while I'm in the over world , and have one in the overworld so it will work while I'm off in god knows where...

You wont have to list them all. Some seeds work the same on m ore then one mod pack due to them using the same biome set up. Some mod packs have some biomes disabled by default, others have them all. Split them in that reguard. Theres many a seed I used on two mod packs and they came out the...
