    If he keeps the same balance he had in 1.5 and doesn't utterly destroy fuel values like BC/IC2 mods did my server is honestly considering getting rid of BC/IC2 and its mods as much as we possibly can and just going full TE/MFR/Factorization/CC for our needs from now on.

    Very difficult to say considering Peat is wildly random, I've seen blocks take under a minute or over a hour to mature.

    1. I would hope so, but considering both Player and Sengir's love for 'Greging' their mods (aka needless complexity) I doubt it. CJ seems to just be going along with it, we can thank him for being the one who added configs for the mods but sadly if he just opposed this their plan would be dead...

    IC2 & BC/Railcraft/Forestry cut the burn time of liquid fuels like Ethanol, Fuel, ect to 1/4, and Lava to 1/10th.

    But why even bother making the Ethanol, tree breeding, fruit juice, the garbage multifarms ect. You could just put down a MFR planter/harvester with some jungle tree saplings and you'd have all the charcoal you needed with none of the effort for 1/10th the power used and that's considered fair...

    I really really hope TE3 isn't apart of this balance deal. I could only Imagine how shit Magmatic Engines would be under this, IC2 Geothermals were cut to like 1/10 burn time per lava bucket I don't want to see that spread.

    Playing with IC2 Experimental and generally not impressed, the kindest thing I can say about it is "The textures on the machines look nicer." that's about it, so much background noise too from everything nothing but noise. We had our BC fuel ratios nerfed for this? Just put IC2 in the gregtech...

    Read the 1st post on the 2nd page, it breaks down the test and where all the MJ comes from to make a closed Ethanol Loop. All your doing with a sappy-ier... sapling is producing more biomass, this is a relatively small portion of the MJ. Through way more work then you'll ever recieve benefit...
