[Electricraft] Resistors suddenly not limiting current correctly

The other resistors branching off the same main line in that screenshot were in the neighborhood of 1-32A, mostly powering fans and other low-power appliances. It seems that as you add more induction motors behind resistors on the same Electricraft network, the maximum amperage that line will...

[Electricraft] Resistors suddenly not limiting current correctly

If you want to, assuming you're just voiding your low-pressure water and not going for a closed-loop liquid system, you can potentially keep the reactor running and just let steam build up in the lines forever. Their capacity is infinite, so you can run the built-up steam through a turbine at a...

Every time someone asks Reika to add a cold fusion reactor to ReC, I want to tell them that if RoC's fluid compression chamber can't achieve cold fusion, nothing in ReactorCraft is going to have a chance. Also, fluid compression chambers filled to the same capacity stack, so you're only a...

To my knowledge, the grindstone only works to repair damaged tools. The primary purpose of a vanilla anvil, for me at least, is to apply enchanted books to tools and armor.

Simple suggestion: bedrock anvils. Exactly like a normal iron anvil that doesn't break. Perhaps dealing extra damage compared to a normal anvil if dropped on a living entity.

As long as you make the little bastards take less time to break. Every time I think I want to use MFR conveyor belts, eventually I realize how much I didn't actually want to use MFR conveyor belts, and it takes me 15 minutes to clean them all back up, just so I can inevitably make the same...

Reactorcraft Oxygen - How to dump?

Hmm, fair enough. The last time I was toying with them was on 24b or so, and if I recall correctly, they stopped working at all after I gave them a certain amount of torque. All seems well in 25z.

Reactorcraft Oxygen - How to dump?

I recommend pumping all your excess oxygen into a fluid compression chamber. Those things can hold 250k buckets each, and you can just swap it out for a fresh one when it gets full.

    Unsupported Monster 1.6.4 Bug Reports

The server actually did kick me, notice: Tested without StatusEffectHUD - the client no longer crashes, but the server still spits out the same error and immediately kicks the player. I've updated the report to reflect this.

    Unsupported Monster 1.6.4 Bug Reports

Doubtful, it probably kicks the player on the first tick after they're finished logging on, so the timer never gets a chance to decrement. I can confirm that a similar issue happens on Monster 1.1.2, but it doesn't look like it's still Reactorcraft causing it. Mod Pack: Monster 1.1.2 Mod &...

Interesting to see that my turbine-lubricant suggestion got put in. I understand that HP turbines take lubricant input through the steam injectors. Quick question so I can get everything correctly hooked up with lube before I update, do magnetostatics require lubricant input from a specific...

I asked for clarification about portal-shafts when Reika was implementing them. Shaft nether portals don't actually respect the 8:1 nether:overworld ratio. That is to say, a shaft fed through a nether portal at (1000,90,1000) will only connect to a shaft in the overworld at (1000,90,1000) too...

Might just be a bug report, then. Here's an image of a simple 3-sprinkler canola farm hydration setup: Ignore the pumps on the left and right, those aren't connected to anything in this screenshot. The central pump is getting 33 MW at 32k Nm, sufficient to operate once per tick at, what, 64x...

Putting this here rather than the tokamak thread to avoid going off-topic. This reminded me, sprinklers, both ground and ceiling-mounted, have a really annoying tendency to consume any amount of water fed into them. This means that it isn't possible to maintain a reliable sprinkler system...

    Would you build this?

If you're so concerned that steam lines aren't working properly, whack the steam lines with an angular transducer to see exactly how much steam they contain. High pressure turbines tend to consume more steam than they actually need to function and prevent steam lines from getting very full (try...

A bedrock coil can only output 16 MW, which means a fully wound coil takes months to discharge. I assume aroural batteries can output much more.

Sometimes I wish that Reactorcraft turbines would require a lubricant supply, even if only to give my proper canola farm a reason to continue operating. It would make sense realistically.

    What's the point of RotaryCraft?

The tokamak I have in my survival world is currently running 6 HPTs, which produce 8.59GW each. If I'd built it with more balanced steam distribution in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if I could squeeze in a couple more. That's including the small efficiency loss incurred by letting the reactor...
