    Logistics Pipes Vs. Applied Energistics

Also, chests don't need power to be used >.< If a creeper breaks your power network, with LP providers on a chest, now you can actually access your items to repair it instead of having to go collecting resources for an ME chest and some stirling engines.

    Logistics Pipes Vs. Applied Energistics

I didn't mean FPS or server lag, I meant that the pipes take a second to begin doing stuff, and then you have to wait for the items to go through the pipes. Overall not a very big deal, but still a bit annoying.

    Logistics Pipes Vs. Applied Energistics

LP doesn't take stacks of quartz, but can take more space easily. It's more energy efficient and more flexible, but for large bases transport is slower and more laggy. Also, one of my favorite features, LP calculates how much of everything it needs before starting crafting, whereas AE only sends...

My idea, forum members dictate what I do on my new world!

Probably wanna build over a lake or turn on keep inv then :P Also a turtle could be used as an elevator.... Faster for going up and safer for down.

    That's the idea! (9x9's in a cloud... :P)

My idea, forum members dictate what I do on my new world!

Get basic starting materials, some dirt, plants, and water, then find the nearest Natura cloud and pillar up. When you reach it, pour water to get up and down. From now on, you live on the cloud! If you want to expand your air base, expand the cloud! (You may have to take other clouds for this)...

    What mod adds these puddles?

Biomes o plenty I believe. I heard somewhere that jumping on them would turn them back to dirt, like tilled dirt, but I haven't been able to get it to work.

    With or without gregtech

The thing is, with something that passive, like shards, or solars, it gets boring. Thats why I made a fusion reactor. But then it took too much to keep running so I made it self-sufficient. And now its basically the same as a super expensive solar array.

    With or without gregtech

And in case it's not clear the matter fabs were to make the iridium FOR the reactor.

    With or without gregtech

The only reason you would possibly need a self sufficient fusion reactor is to fuel all your matter fabs. (I actually made one once, it was fun but I will say Ultimate solars are just as effective...)

Oh that greg and his humor

I use energy fields, and after I fought the Ur-Ghast, I saw that it only had 30 uses left and couldn't find any relation between that and anything like heat, power, etc.

How do you light your base?

Use Project Red, it has lamps that are literally exactly the same. Clicky Linky

    With or without gregtech

It used to be fun... But seriously, recipes that take 20+ steps, and steps that take 5 minutes? Try making a fusion reactor yourself, Greg... And no cheating!

Oh that greg and his humor

He does have good humor there, -rest of sentence omitted to prevent arguments- On a side note, how is your MPS helmet taking durability? Mine did that too the other day and I've been wondering how...

Was wondering if the Comparator can be duplicated.

Signal strength has always been in... You know, the 15-block limit? It was just never very useful until now.

How do you light your base?

You probably needed more power, maybe the energy loss was too high.

[Help] Refill Smeltery with liquid Metals?

Sorry then, my bad. No, you shouldn't need a faucet, just pump into the drain.

[Help] Refill Smeltery with liquid Metals?

You should be able to pump it into the controller with liquiducts and/or pipes.

Bigest oil gyser you have Seen/used

The largest one I've seen was 30 blocks tall, in an ocean, give or take some. I never actually pumped it after my biofuel system became self-sufficient, but I made my base next to it just in case.
