According to a buddy on my server (since I couldn't remember), you'll have to play with an avarice pearl until it shatters, and then do the research stemming from that.

There definitely is a simpler way! But it does require a bit of research into Thaumcraft and Automagy. The thirsty tank with a (name might be off) "Glyph of the Bovine" will auto-milk cows and fill itself with milk. From there, you can use whatever method you want to convert it to cake :)

Or, perhaps, 100 Hydroangeas or so. I'd really rather harvest the petals from crops than hope I can find 150 cyan flowers.

You can cross-breed to get mystical flowers seeds to use with agricraft, which can be harvested for petals.

Are you sure about that? I'm almost certain that the trans-dimensional teleport commands are added by Mystcraft.

I'll be honest with you... your infusion altar "room" looks a bit small. Iirc, the altar looks out in a 12 block radius on the x and z for stability. Otherwise I'm quite liking your layout :) edit: (Not saying your giant under-room doesn't cover that, but I'd be careful about placing things...

If you've gotten to the point where you can craft gates and pulsating chipsets, you should be able to craft autarchic gates for that purpose. Before I reached that point, I was using obsidian pipes 2 blocks below open crates to get items into my pipe network.

Don't think there's an alternative to composting. As a more passive way of making it, you could/should toss your excess seeds in the composter while you level your seeds up. With the exception of wheat/essence seeds.
