Well, I think that by both my observations and your own, we can probably agree that coven witches are not guaranteed to spawn at a stone circle. Certainly doesn't make finding them any easier :\

AFAIK, a stone circle MAY have a coven witch when you find it. Additionally, I think I've heard that they can spawn new coven witches as well, though I have not verified that myself.

I just went with the Ethereal Blooms, taint won't spread beyond them.

That's the way I made my own little tainted biome. Once you have tainted a node the biome will spread quite quickly.

To be fair, TPL has said it once that I can recall in this thread, and referred to the mod as AM, which is not necessarily the first thing people would search for.

Well, considering it's literally the stored data on a specialized drive, there's literally no outside source of energy until you bring it back into the world. So I suppose that makes sense... ish.
