Redpower and 1.4.7 redstone have 2 states, ON or OFF, machines only care about the on or off state to do their job, in 1.5, the comparator can dectect the signal state (from 1 to 15 or off) and do stuff with it, redpower does not have 255 different states, only 2. why is it so hard to...

I said I prefer leather before nano, that means: every armor in game > nano armor. anyway, nano and quantum armor have all is protection in the chestplate, while in vanilla armor is balanced, which means that if you use jetpack + full nano is more or less the same as jetpack + full leather.

then stay in 1.4.7, if you think new features that will be added in the 1.5 versions of the mods aren't worth it (like thaumcraft 3.1, xycraft, EE3, thermal expansion, MMMpowersuites, MFR, etc) then thats your problem.

it has a signal strength of 255 but only has 2 states, ON or OFF, vanilla has 15 strength and 16 states, OFF, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 and 15, those states can be detected by a comparator, which redpower does not have such a thing..

Playing on peaceful = cheating. everything else, fine with me... maybe keep inventory, sometimes I do use it.

In vanilla I can always go mine a witch hut perimeter or make a village bigger or an iron trench, in FTB I can just slap a quarry and have a witch hut perimeter in no time, make a turtle do a village, have iron golem spawners... So vanilla is not so boring for me.

Not like voxelag isnt laggy or anything... Oh and zan's is now part of voxel anyway, voxelbox is made for creative builds and world edit and cheating... I personally removed all that uselles cheaty laggy crap from my FTB folder.

I think if you are coding a mod in eclipse, going to your forum topic and type "updating" its easier than coding the mod itself, not sure, just maybe.
