Why is removing void fog cheating? Heck, that allows access to some great real estate. I just wish that void fog was better implemented.

Does this only apply for new worlds that you make just for creative, or do you switch to creative in your survival world?

I have a few worlds that are dedicated "survival-only" in which I do not use creative mode. In most of them, however, I allow myself to switch freely back and forth. For mixed worlds, I limit item spawning to bricks and wood to aid in construction, acquiring all other materials the normal way.

Playing on peaceful = cheating.

everything else, fine with me... maybe keep inventory, sometimes I do use it.

In FTB, unless you live in an active Hydra lair, the difference between Peaceful and any other difficulty is that occasionally you have something that bumps into you, but probably isn't ever going to kill you.

I got my quantum armor and sat in a midst of 15 angry zombies for who knows how long before I got bored and melted them all with my potency wand. I don't see the distinction, except that on peaceful, I would have used slightly less durability on my potency wand.

Full stop! QA is an endgame armor and if you have Greg's awesome mod of death and destruction installed, it IS hard to get it.
Even with nanosuit it is possible to get killed in Nether, and that's not very hard to die there. At least on Hard.
And also, even if you have QA, your buildings do not.

- I'm invincible!
*PssssssssBOOM*
- Oh now! My awesome building of awesomeness!!!

nanosuit is shit and not worth to make, iron enchanted is cheaper and gives more protection than that shit.

  • Disabling Creeper Damage/mobGriefing Game Rule - On Survival? Yes. That's no longer Survival, then. Play on Peaceful or Creative if you don't want to die by creeper 'splosions.
The mob griefing game rule only disables block changes done by mobs. They still do full damage to entities so it would basically only prevent the annoying holes in the ground when a creeper gets you in the open. It would safeguard the machines but they tend to blow up by themselves more likely. And Endermen moving blocks is just another annoyance that doesn't exactly cause you any harm.

Meh, it requires enchanting (and those enchants can be bad) and it can broke. I can recharge nanosuit and after a long-long time use it to make QA.

I said I prefer leather before nano, that means: every armor in game > nano armor.

anyway, nano and quantum armor have all is protection in the chestplate, while in vanilla armor is balanced, which means that if you use jetpack + full nano is more or less the same as jetpack + full leather.
