    FTB Beyond Town Hall

Reasons to update: Forge for 1.11 is getting updates, forge for 1.10 only really critical updates Vanilla code in 1.11 is cleaner in many places Vanilla new features (mansions, ...) Updating now makes future transitions easier. Updating accross multiple versions is usually pretty hard Some...

Request Silverfish spawning in nether ores, how do I rid them?

Do you have 'Deadly World' or something? I think that mod does that but there may be others

What exactly is the problem with moving from 1.10.2 to 1.11.2? It is not as if that much changed really. It is not really valid to compare that with the situation from 1.7.10 to 1.8 and beyond as then the changes were massive. But this time it is easy. There is practically no reason to not update.

Problem with that attitude is that that slows down adoption of the latest version. It is much better IMHO to push more into upgrading to the latest. Especially in this case where the upgrade isn't that hard to do really. All my mods work on 1.10 and 1.11 at the same time so the changes are not...

Beyond Expert isn't going to be out for a least several more months. There is still time for those mods to also update to 1.11 and as some people has stated. Besides the itemstack changes porting to 1.11 is *not* complicated.

    RFTools - Support and Suggestions

Well the RFTools power storage is pretty unique. As far as I know it is the only multi-dimensional/disconnected multiblock powerstorage solution. What that means is that it is a multiblock where the parts don't have to connect. They don't even have to be in the same dimensions. And even if they...

    RFTools - Support and Suggestions

The original question was not about storage but power generation. Also RFTools has a multi-block power storage solution that can store 4 million RF per block. May not be massive but I'm not a big fan of powercreep either.

    RFTools - Support and Suggestions

In all my survival plays I never made a dimension that needed more then 3000 RF/tick. And that was for a mining dimension which was solid up to 128, had extra ores like netherquarts, glowstone, extra dimensional shards and eternal day. If you use RFTools Dimensions right (hint: efficienciy...

The best place for information is probably the spotlights from Direwolf and the in-game manual.

They should spawn unless something is very wrong. So I think you have just been unlucky. How are you looking for them though? They are sometimes hard to see given that they are underwater.

All dimlets have the same id and that number depends on the modpack anyway. Did you enable owner dimlets in the config?

    FTB Beyond Release

Who stops you from enabling it again? It is just in the config. Also actually the majority of Quark is still enabled. It has a huge number of features and the things that are disabled is a relatively small subset.

    Query - Rftools builder quarrying

Yes, it mines on a chunk by chunk. So per chunk it will process one layer at a time

Not at the moment. Why would you need that?
