The Lost Cities: new RFTools Dimension type

This album shows what I'm currently working on. It is a new dimension type in RFTools Dimension. This landscape + city is completely generated: http://imgur.com/a/RmHiM I plan to release this as a standalone worldtype mod too

Well I don't play swords in real life but is this actually the case? I can't imagine that you can (in real life) hit with a sword as fast as you could in 1.7.10. Swords are heavy objects (I know that at least) and it takes time before you can get the momentum back to swing again. I think that's...

Did you try to get used to vanilla combat? I like the new mechanics. In the beginning it is hard but after a while you get used to it and I wouldn't want to go back now

Well for me 1.10.2 performs MUCH better compared to 1.7.10. Especially with mods like foamfix added to the mix (and yes I did use FastCraft in 1.7.10). While MC does now use more memory it really helps for performance if you have enough memory and this also shows in how the code is organized.

Modding is not more difficult in 1.10.2 or beyond. On the contrary. Vanilla and forge have improved considerably and I find working on RFTools for 1.10.2 much easier then it was for 1.7.10

Just put optifine in mods folder. That's all you have to do

    No Mekanism in ModPacks?

I think HermitCraft for 1.10 has Mekanism hasn't it?

RFTools Builder Block Quarry stops working when leaving the mining world.

You can chunkload it with FTB Utilities or any other chunkloader.

RFTools Builder Block Quarry stops working when leaving the mining world.

You must chunkload the builder itself. It will automatically chunkload the chunk it is working on though

I am oldschool MC player and I am overwhelmed by FTB Beyond, need some help.

Or watch someone popular (like Direwolf) play. You can learn a lot from him too. Also spotlights are useful
