I launched it as start.command and start.sh, and it said I had no privleges for the .command, while the .sh refused to open, so I checked the privleges and gave myself them. It still didn't work.

As i am terrible with technology, i have no idea how to start my server with more ram, or even start my server correctly. It seems that there are no video tutorials or even typed ones that i could find, and i really need help. It is a small server just for me and my friend, i have o idea why...

My friend is trying to play also, so i told him to download the client .jar or .exe. he did, but it just launches 1.4.2 without mods. he is using the latest version. :(
