i think you mean the thermal expansion? this wont update on his own, the ftb staff has to update manually the ftb modpack and release it, once this is done, the launcher will grab the updated modpack. it's more like a semi-automated update process

good idea, i think i just visit my 2 active worlds and delete then the ones, which have not updated in ftp. (file date)

doesnt solve the problem. it has only preinstalled possibilities vanilla minecraft, but when i use this and upload the ftb files, i get missing item id for every modpack item. tried the bukkit one, replaced all bukkit files with ftp and renamed the ftb jar into bukkit, runs, but i would never...

hm.. what does that mean to us? if we setup the server and redpower, ee and thaumcraft comes later, we have to restart everything, because their ores can't be created in an existing world right? this would suck

nono, i mean the installable launcher (.exe) itself. the 0.3.1 build? in github under automatic builds, i can only find the 0.2.2

it worked just fine for me. doubleclicked the jar file, chose a new destination on an other partition, because i hate it to have games on my c:drive and it downloaded everything what it needs and worked just like a charm. i'm using win7 64bit, java7 the only thing is, it uses the 32bit jar...
