Im afraid that a Rf themed pack doesnt have much late game, which was the fun stuff, since you are able to obtain pretty much everything except lategame bees and trees and TT Kami if it will be in the tech packs within some hours of playing.

Could you look into Epic reward bags. I tested it in creative and you dont seem to get any good stuff, only like enchanted books and "spghetti and meatballs".

Idk, in my instance of resonant rise I have about 150 mods, which is the mods that are in the Dw20 pack. Also as it stands that thread is outdated and I cant really add more then 2 Gb ram. Also I dont use any texture packs.

Clay buckets are 1 time use, when you use them for lava.

I went the other route and used more autonomous activators per sieve, but otherwise you dont need all that much ores at all later into the game, you need other stuff like liquids and such, bees, but going a bit Soaryn is never bad.

While playing with Dw20 pack, I seem to not have much issues, good Fps for my needs(50) and no lag, but when I for example use ResonantRise, which has about the same amount of mods I get unplayable 10 FpS. I even tried disableing some mods I dont really like or not necesary, but doesnt help...

You can make leather out of flint, water and rotten flesh via Blood Magic, for me its kinda the easiest way, all you basicly need is to make the potio thingy, which is really cheap and some blood(200 i think it was per 3 leather).

For the High Oven: Smelt using charcoal blocks, they are so much quicker and in the end you waste the same amounth of charcoal but its slower. Also, COOK IRON BLOCKS, that way you dont have to waste extra sand/redstone/gunpowder, making 9 steel at a time is so much better and you end up with 3...

You can fill barrels with glass bottles, which if you are playing for 3 minecraft weeks farming trees, you probably have a bunch of materials so you can spare 3 sand.

Its with the new 2.0.3 I unlocked it upon completing the I'm smelting quest( the one with the smeltery parts). IF you already have completed it I'm not sure if it will update.
