I'm pretty sure it's not intentional but the bees give of the XP even if they aren't actively producing things so I injected my bees with End flowering since I don't have the dragon egg around them. This way they never have to have maintenance with princesses/drones/combs. I just leave them in...

I use 20 XP bees under the floor of the enchantment table. Gets you 30 levels almost by the time it takes to put in a book, hit enchant, then place book in organized fashion.

That's how I got repair for my Zephyr sword. It's just a random chance on a book like most any other enchant.

I've tried everything to get a Tipsy bee and just can't. I've changed the date to Dec. 30th, 31st, and Jan.1 as well as various times throughout the day. I looked through the forestry mod to find if there is a config or database to check to see when I should breed it. Finding nothing I gave up...

My feelings towards solars is they take a lot of upfront cost which should offset their use. Even moreso now that the advanced solar panel requires a little iridium to make (Mindcrack 8.2.0). Really a lot of FTB is cheaty in some way - bees.

I defeated the end dragon then jumped up to get the egg down and brought it back to overworld. Got my mining laser to go back to get the end bee hives. I got all 6 on the island then fell off with laser, bees, and fully upgraded and nice enchanted quantum armor.

You said you have the jaded bee? I thought that was only obtainable if you're Jadedcat; or is it tied to knowing all the other bees first?
