Silly question but for 1.7 direwolf20 is shaders added by a mod or is it apart of vanilla now?

Are melons spawning in the jungles in the Direwolf20 1.7 pack? Also does the mystery Safari net pick a mob at random to spawn or does it go down a list of potential spawns.

I believe you have to kill the mob to get the hearts because I have auto spawners and haven't gotten any but while I was grinding to make the spawners I was getting a few.

I learned that the stings from forestry bees such as tropicals fresh from the hive are projectiles. I was wearing projectile protection on my pants and noticed it was losing durability.
