Same Same...only reason I posted was because of the save deletion. All I was doing at the time was hammering Nickel.

I have to disagree, the Pneumaticraft helmet in this pack actually cools you, so this is a bonus.
That is in no way a factor in redeeming Pneumaticraft, as this is Enviromine functionality that could be given to any item. (For example, in the ice world private modpack I'm half-heartedly organizing, fur armour from The Camping Mod is so good in the cold that it's a really tough choice between warmth and damage protection.) However, the helmet does have its uses for the greenhorn city raider. Also it's something I now know exists for normal world gameplay, although I'm unlikely to use PC outside of this pack until some bugs are addressed.

To be fair, a lot of the 1.6.4 bugs in Pneumaticcraft have been fixed in 1.7.10.

Nothing seems to stand out in console either.

Do you have any automation setup in that world?
One sifter, one mob tower, lava and water crucibles with a Transposer filling bottles.

Edit: 2 High Ovens + Smeltry but they're not automated, per se. Use on demand and they weren't running when the crash occurred.

For the first bit: Molten metal is a possibility. If it works might be a good way to purge morning mobs as well. Something like dumping boiling oil down castle walls in the Medieval days.

The more important part was how they were automated. Specifically the sieve.

I was hoping Steam would be good...does nothing to the player but is funny to watch. Sewage looks promising but only after the mob leaves it. Don't think there are any good fluids outside of gelid cryotheum and I don;t think that's so easy to produce?

Hmm, I just booted up the test world and didn't have a huge amount of luck with the florbs. The liquid metal kills many mobs and could be a nice portable defensive wall, but does not do much about pigmen. Glue is worthless, and concrete makes a mess. Concrete does trap and kill a few mobs but pigmen jump far to much to be caught in it.

I wasn't considering metals after I died from seared stone [Sync worked!]...but I guess it's worth a shot [Nickel maybe]?

Base is chunkloaded but I was inside the base when crash occurred. AA is fed from barrel via itemduct. AA is automating the sieve. Drops collected via vacuum hopper which deposits into Gold chest [which has/had room].[DOUBLEPOST=1411183341][/DOUBLEPOST]

The problem which led to the grenado idea are those damn bow-wielding pigmen. Guess I'm just gonna have to go with the break spawner and run away tactics.

Finally finished lighting up around the base to max spawns within tower and I'm getting random zombies inside my perimeter. Is this something to do with ZA? Can this be prevented with Slabs around the tower. I've triple-checked and F7 isn't showing any spawnable area outside the trap due to light levels. If these SoBs are spawning in midair...

Edit with solution: IRT Zombies inside the compound, slabbing around the mob tower seems to have solved the issue. I have a 2x2 killzone [so 4x4 including walls]. I put 6x6 slabs around that [may be overkill] and haven't had any problems since [knock-on-wood].
Had one spawn 5 mins after I posted this [sigh].

Aside: Creeper seed explosions can dislodge dark glass! It seems only compressed cobble [full block] is immune...and maybe obsidian? And any microblock I've put into the player-interaction area has also gotten dislodged. Only way I've been able to stop mini-mobs escaping the trap is to close it off with compressed cobble.

I have a feeling perhaps, since the AA is a fake player, Perhaps it's triggering a hole in the item HUD code and causing a null pointer when it attempts to send the message to the player about gaining an item or something to that extent. Hard to say though.

This would be the other thing they were mentioning - when zombies get attacked them go calling buddies and run all over you. Or something like that. Think they said it's suppose to be vanilla mechanics? < That part is a little fuzzy in the memory.
