So series 7 part 2 was the "Impossible souffle girl", and the war doctor in the doctor's mind.

And that ended with trenzalore, right? Series 6 part 1 ended with the crazy female doctor sicking the headless monks on The Doctor, and 7 part 2 ends with the big wrap-up of all 7 series being some sort of grand master plan that semi-backfired along the way?

(Really ... are we supposed to believe that? :)

Trenzalore was the Christmas special, it doesn't count as any series. Neither does Day or Night of the Doctor. They're specials.

Sorry, I forgot they went to Trenzalore in Name of the Doctor, which was the end of the series. You're pretty much right. I wish they'd kept it as one part, they'd promised they'd not do that anymore.
