Too Much Free Time
When a mod adds a random 'feature' just to use an option with X popular mod.
No matter how jarring and immersion breaking, you have to add this though it never actually fits in with your mods design.
When someone else copies some else's mod spotlight word for word.
or when someone does a spotlight and just simple shows the items/blocks and their names, not even taking the time explaining what they do
Or when the spotlight is mostly the youtuber going "UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... what was that recipe, again?" followed by the sound of them hitting Alt + Tab.
Or when a Youtuber desperate for fame validates a crappy mod's existence by spotlighting it.

I know there are plenty of youtubers doing a spotlight for pretty much any mod, even mods that don't even need a spotlight because there's not even enough content for a spotlight...
I can proudly say I still often play the old 1.2.5 FTB Insanity map with tons of fun
tall grass
trying to catch butterflies in a bee breeding area (flowers and tall grass interfere with the nets right-click)
sneak not preventing falling from half-blocks
early bee breeding in anything but a normal/normal biome
gathering clay early game underwater
F9 grid not working with fancy graphics
microblock lighting fails

I can proudly say I builded my own 1.2.5 pack(Again) during the 1.5.2 era, I still play it often

Debug modes (f3) and the extensions of (f7/f9) actually being considered/used for legit gameplay.
(its not really any different to Xray textures- using something that external and out of context to override in-game challenge for the sake of convenience)
b1.7.3, 1.2.5, and 1.4.7 were some of the better versions of vanilla/modded MC
There's quite a lot there still worth playing with.
The only thing wrong with 1.2.5 was the old sounds, which weren't to bad (I think, that was a long time ago after all). It's just the people that whine about EE2 not being overpowering.
Say, I also hate how half of the emails from this site go to the spam folder. That really sucks sometimes.
Worst of all I hate when I was going to post something but then I randomly forgot what I was going to post 
Those people that mindlessly defend a modder's bad choice. Like Gregtech or FlowerChild or Eloraam. Actually, that applies for pretty much everything. Movie stars, singers, anything famous actually.
