Your house/base on FTB Post Photos

Aight be ready to be dissapointed.

This is my house. The log is made from Twilight Forest Dark Wood, the planks on the walls are Mahogony and the Floor is Ebony.
The interior of the house I designed to be a trophy hall of sorts. A big one.
In the bigass basement I have my lab. The holes in the floor are tanks and mob farms which are switched off at the moment. I have three of them, one for Zombie Pigmen, Wither Skeletons and Witches.
I also have a little room for my captured desert testificates.
I got my portals here including one which goes to a friend of mine's "Compensation Tower."
These are mah bees. #hardcore - So far I've managed to bread Imperials and Industrious. I'm working on a tropical climate mystcraft age for tropical bees in order to start making backpacks.
So far I have the bees set up to be automated on a redstone signal for overnight use and I have some centrifuges with a ghetto-ass way of processing the combs.

That's the most interesting thing I have so far. I'm working on a chicken powered matter fabricator, so should be fun when it's finished.

You're an excellent builder, nice work! I like your choices in materials.
 

Well I speak in contrast to some of the other bases I see, in comparison to them, mine's nothing particularly special, impressive or innovative.
Granted, I am still learning.

Sorry if I came off wrong.

future plans
add more three smaller island tower which will have these purposes
a bee island including the processing of combs
lirbary/enchantment and thaumcraft tower
power monitor room( may change later)
create 7 by 7 island in between bridges to house farms for bio fuel
decorate main tower interior
hidden armory in main tower

This is my current FTB Monster survival map, it's in the early stages and I haven't started on a factory yet.
The reason being, I prefer to stay away from the big buildings because they end up becoming eye-sores to look at.
The house is my own design (and in the past I've been terrible at designing) which is a 7x9 with a similarly-sized downstairs with full 30-level enchanting and 24 gold chests worth of storage.
Not much room to move inside but it works just fine as a small, resource-efficient design.
