I think it also has something to do with A PIe. Imnotsure what, sadly...

Quick format your hard drive and change all your passwords. Oh and send me copies of them for, safe keeping. Yah that's it.
"routine training missions", eh? I'll take those for you.

New small release of RFTools 2.74 with some fixes (not the space projector yet):

2.74:
  • Fixed registration with Waila. This should make tooltips work better again.
  • Moved the Draconic Core API to the correct spot. This way Draconic Evolution support actually works.
  • Blacklisted biome Sky as that can spawn the ender dragon.

Curse: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/224641-rftools#t1:other-downloads
Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/download/tejp1vuhgxagvq4/rftools-2.74.jar

Have fun!

and @FyberOptic with Lattice Mod
FyberOptic said:
Ever wondered why Minecraft never included any kind of lattice blocks to walk on? So have I! This simple mod has got you covered.

The lattice blocks are basic crossed segments of wood which are capable of interconnecting vertically with fence posts, as well as other configurable blocks, to achieve a wide variety of visual effects. They come in both the standard wood and nether brick forms.

latticepreviews.png

The recipes are basically the standard fence recipes turned on their side:

latticerecipe1.png

latticerecipe2.png

The config file allows modification of which specific blocks the lattice will connect with vertically, with the default including things like fences, torches, skulls, pressure plates, etc. From here you can also disable the default functionality of lattices interconnecting with one another, as well as enable them to automatically connect with any solid block above or below.

  • Fixed the Excaliber not being enchantable.

  • Fixed the Ring of Loki not working past the 4.5 block range of survival.
  • Relic items no longer despawn naturally. They can still be destroyed by explosions, lava, etc, so you should still be careful.
  • Shift-right clicking a cursor while editing with the Ring of Loki will now remove it.
  • Subtle change to the ring of thor's tooltip to make it a bit more obvious.

Info
Currently for Minecraft 1.8.0

Video Tutorial and Review by the lovely AntVenom (We worked on the mod together)!
I’d recommend checking this out to find out how the mod works.

  • In-game Mocap recorder with a GUI and a twist. Record yourself doing stuff, go back in the timeline and record an entirely new action! Keep doing this and have an entire scene, all acted out yourself, without the need of others’ help.
  • Toggle the Scene Editor UI with the F12 key when ingame. Start and Stop a new action (you have to make one first) with F10, replay the entire scene using F9. (All keybinds configurable, preferably you should watch the video on how to use the mod)
  • Saving the project will also export all the actions to be reimported into the same scene. Offset this and you can have an entire group “dancing” in sync!
  • Keygrip uses a workspace in the /mods/ folder, if you need any files Keygrip creates, it’ll be there.
  • Also wanna add a note: Holding shift when you hit OK on an import action window will not set the offset to the player position.
  • Requires Java 7 and later.

It's about time someone made that.

Poor Engineer's Toolbox, always either forgotten by everyone or dead.

(edit) Oh cool let's make this post a bit more useful. Big Reactors just got an update.
Another bugfix release! This one fixes a pretty serious, long-standing issue which caused server crashes (and occasionally corrupted worlds) when active reactors were broken with Tinker's Construct hammers. It also fixes a nasty problem which caused any changes to the powerProductionMultiplier config to be applied twice, so power output was out-of-whack with non-standard config settings.

[ADDED] Monkey Wrench. This will be used for things like setting secondary Faces and slightly advanced Pipe interaction. It has the same combat and mining Stats a regular Wrench has.
[ADDED] A few more Crafting Recipes for OreDict Items, including the Springs which were missing.

You would still need to set the flammability for the block in the block config, but I don't generate a block config for air :p
Can we add to the configs?

For example, change
"minecraft:wooden_button" {
S:creativeTab=redstone
I:fireEncouragement=0
I:flammability=0
D:hardness=0.5
D:lightLevel=0.0
D:resistance=2.5
D:slipperiness=0.6000000238418579

To
"Highlands:tile.hl_ashWood" {
S:creativeTab=derp
I:fireEncouragement=100
I:flammability=0
D:hardness=0.5
D:lightLevel=0.0
D:resistance=2.5
D:slipperiness=0.6000000238418579

Basically just add blocks to the config file.
(sorry if its a nooby question)

OpenComputers 1.5.6 is now available. Mostly bugfixes, some other stuff.

As always, remember to make a backup of your world before updating.
  • Added: Chamelium is now edible. But don't.
  • Added: More AE2 integration (thanks DrummerMC).
  • Changed: Floppies and hard drives can no longer be wiped by shift right-clicking them. To wipe loot floppies, craft them on their own (i.e. put them in a crafting grid).
  • Changed: Improved recipe handling. Recipes can now be disabled by assigning false to them. Missing recipes will generate a warning.
  • Fixed: 3D Print info in WAILA.
  • Fixed: Converter for Forestry now not only applied for bees in Analyze/Bee House/... but also for bees in inventories.
  • Fixed: Disassembler ignoring recipe output sizes (leading to fun effects like iron nuggets being disassemblable into iron ingots).
  • Fixed: Potential crashes in AE2 integration even when used with newer AE2 versions. Hopefully.
  • Fixed: Prints now properly register themselves for FMP slots, making them work as covers for Project Red cables, for example.
  • Fixed: Redstone I/O block properly wakes computers now.
  • Fixed: Wireless messages potentially triggering chunk loads.

No, I was talking specifically about miniature nether portals, not just things that teleport.
Those are called "linking books" from a mod that isn't very well known called "Mystcraft" I am sure you never heard of it. Mystcraft isn't very main stream, you know? The cool think about it is that it isn't just a miniature nether portal, it is also a portal to any dimension if you really tried. :^)

It's not popular because people CBA to get permissions, especially when xComp makes it hard for people who want to just create a "fun pack to play with friends, but share publicly"
