-Waila and magnifying glass only show stats of analyzed plants
-Sprinklers consume less water and irrigate plants much much slower (it was quite op before)
-Changed the way custom wood recipes are handled, they now show up in NEI
-Sprinkler now always drops the right item
-Tanks, channels and sprinklers are no longer destroyed in one hit
-The math behind irrigation systems is now correct
-Made irrigation systems less network intensive
-In the journal, when a fruit is a block, it now loads the texture correctly
-Fixed some crop rendering derps (Marcin212)
-World gen blocks no longer generate in greenhouses
-Added weeds

New Rare Subspecies: The first rare subspecies has been added (all other subspecies are just uncommon), the Celestial Geonach! This is incredibly rare and also very dangerous, beware!

Familiars Added: The entire base code and GUI for familiars has been added, this does nothing at all so far, unless you're me! :D I'm not too sure what plans I have for familiars yet but donaters and patrons will have their own familiars in future updates. These base code also covers a lot of work required for Pet/Mount storage too!

Config Change: Light and Dark spawn conditions for mobs are now configurable.

Config Change: Subspecies and Random Sizes can now be disabled via the config, this wont affect mobs that have already spawned however.

Improvement: Krampus has come to join the winter celebrations! Additional, larger presents may drop on December 25th! Hoo hoo hoo!

Improvement: Summoned Grue minions no longer burn in the sun.

Improvement: Concapedes can now spawn in the dark which means you may find them underground in jungle biomes too. (Don't fear, the Concapede insane spawning bug was fixed long ago and wont be coming back).

Balancing: Spriggans now heal for 50% of the damage they deal, down from 100%.

Bug Fix: Beholders should now obey their masters, instead of killing them!

Bug Fix: Spriggan minions set to aggressive should now target threats and attack instead of just floating around!

  • Added some christmas spark. ARE YOU JINGLING YOUR BELLS YET?!
  • Fixed a major dupe with the Assembly Halo where right clicking a recipe would allow for more than one item to be crafted at once using only one set of resources.
  • Fixed the render for the flowers not randomizing the position in the Z axis like vanilla flowers do. It still randomizes in the Y axis unlike vanilla flowers because I think it looks good.
  • Sparks now properly check against how much space is left on the target block and don't try to put in more mana than available, actually making spark networks viable. You can all point and laugh now.
  • The Assembly Halo is now more forceful with checking the validity of a recipe. It can no longer craft recipes purely from memory (and allowing as a way to craft things that have been changed since)
  • The Mana Mirror now checks for the pool on update and has a backlog for calls inbetween. It also works cross dimension a lot better.
  • [API] Added getAvailableSpaceForMana() to ISparkAttachable. This is very important and breaks backwards compatibility. If anyone is using that interface please adapt ASAP.
  • [API] Increased version number to 28.

I'll write a full changelog for the release proper, for now here's a quick roundup of what changed an what I'd appreciate help testing with.

  • Added: Tier 2 Microcontroller.
  • Added: Drones!
  • Added: Leash Upgrade.
  • Changed: A lot of internal robot-related logic to allow reusing it for drones.
Drones? Drones!
Drones are to robots as microcontrollers are to computers. They're more limited but cheaper, and have different strengths. In their case in particular: they are actual entities, so they have other options for interacting with the world. For now this is only used for one upgrade: the leash upgrade, which allows drones to leash animals and pull them around the world.
Drones can not activate, break or place blocks, nor use items or tools. They're sort of glorified carrier pigeons.

To get started, I posted a short video demonstration some basics on Youtube.
The wiki is also sort of up-to-date again.

So the above are pretty much also what I'd appreciate some help testing with: robots (in particular inventory and tank interaction), microcontrollers (in particular the T2 one) and drones (everything about them). Please report any problems you run into on Github, thanks a lot!

I do too, but my iPad doesn't have a bookmark there (it's really hidden).
It's still 2 and a half hours to Christmas over here. :(

Framez 0.2-23 (by amadornes, who wishes everybody a Merry Christmas in the changelog)
  • Translation updates
  • Fixed some ConcurrentModificationException crashes that were all over the place
  • Fixed frames (or any multipart for that matter) flickering when moved. Will also prevent you from falling through them
  • Fixed fluid movement (Now only source blocks will be allowed to be moved)
  • Updated AE2 and RF APIs
  • Added support for custom-rendered hitboxes
  • Fixed crash when moving Immibis' Dimensional Anchors and Railcraft World Anchors
  • Fixed crash when moving EIO capacitor banks
  • Fixed some motors not connecting again once moved
  • Added Funky Locomotion support
  • Added a way to check why frames can't move (Just hold a Framez wrench in your hand ;P)

FIX: Periodic nausia effect added by the Feel No Pain effect (from drinking moonshine), was causing a ConcurrentModificationException to occur when another block was adding potion effects to the player at the same time.
FIX: Spirits were not dropping their subdued form any more.

Closed Issue #19 - Fixed the bucket exchange in the Gui
Closed Issue #10 - Backpacks will place on death up to 12 blocks away and 7 blocks below or above the point where you die.

Fixed a big number of other bugs.

Added a Christmas surprise. And other surprises in the future part of the surprising secret surprise feature. Surprise.

The network code has been rewritten from the ground up so backpacks should behave better in servers.
Should Fix:
Issue #21 - Syncrhonization of tool cycling, death placement, hose switching has been rewritten. Testing in servers is required.
Issue #18 - The particles should be visible for all the clients.

All recipes (for the craftable backpacks) now show in NEI. Should show in other mods that show recipes.
All relevant recipes now use the Ore Dictionary.

Added sound to the backpack placement.
New GUI:
- Crafting GUI deprecated, a crafting matrix is now located in the regular GUI.
- Smart GUI: shift clicking will attempt to place the items in their respective slots.
- Updates whenever the inventory changes, no more derping when grabbing stuff from NEI or the floor.
- MOAR SLOTS : 39 slots for items.
- No more Backpack-ception: Backpacks can't go inside other backpacks or inside themselves.
