Okay, so these two new mods of mine are actually the very first mods I ever wrote for Minecraft, but I'm just now releasing them (hence why they are for 1.6.4). As I say in the MCF post, I have no idea if anyone at all will be interested in Squake, but Quake-style movement is pretty much always the first thing I try to implement whenever I start modding a game (even tried to add it in Don't Starve o_O).

Squake (Quake-style movement for Minecraft)





Squeedometer (a speedometer)

I wondee how much hunger will it consume when doing that with hunger overhaul mod :D

Working on a wireless data transmission mod. I should have an alpha out by the end of the week, maybe a few days longer.

NOTE: No, it won't be RF-only. That would be silly, as my current personal pack doesn't have any mods using RF for some reason.

This sounds pretty good, but I'd like to know some things about your mod: What is it about? What kinds of unique mechanics does it bring to the table no other major mod has? How can someone use this mod in some unique way? Finally, how can a mod like this integrate with other sorts of Minecraft FTB mods?

Wireless data transmission (as I said); more realistic wireless transmission mechanics (weather/randomness/etc. as reception quality qualifiers, strength of signal as a balancing factor, better jamming, better ways to scan the entire system in...); cyber warfare servers or just sending things beyond regular redstone (like bundled redstone, maybe later rednet or computer data); just put it in and it will magically work; no, I don't like WR-CBE
