Werewolf Game 2 Game Thread

Hey guys, Goreae's a wolf, I know this because of his avatar

We went through this last time. Wolf-man: intelligent, normally peaceful race. Werewolf: vicious killers of the night. I can tell you right now that I'm not a werewolf, but I am a wolf. Huge difference, the difference between a housecat and a panther.

And besides, villager/civilian is hardly a solid basis for a lynching, IMHO.

(And there was no hint, ICountFrom0 was telling a story. We lynched a scarecrow, a nobody, as a "false sacrifice" because we thought "tonight will be peaceful, surely the werewolf was not trapped inside with us". PeggleFrank dies, proving us wrong, and the false sacrifice insufficient. A game moderator is not going to drop hints about the roles of players in his game; that's bad form.)

It amazes me that you both seem to think you can lynch someone who's done nothing but speak sense and help the villagers, without offering one lick of explanation. I was right that PeggleFrank's early vote against me was not a sign that he was a werewolf. I was right to not vote to lynch anyone on the first day, as we can now see how little information we actually had on that day, and how random our lynch vote would have been---unless you think half of the players in this game are your enemy, a random lynching would have been a terrible idea.

So how about I continue to be transparent, truthful and helpful, and you continue to vote to lynch me, and we'll see where that gets you?

yup, that answer sounds good to me, and makes perfect sense....just like you have been the entire game. So far, I'm really leaning towards the idea that the people that are being quiet are the werewolves...because from what I've seen so far, all of us that are talking a lot are actually making decent defenses and ideas that make sense...and haven't stumbled over ourselves in any lies yet.

I'm not going to throw out a name yet...but I think the safest bet is to Lynch one of these 3 tonight...

I'd also like to add, VikeStep, that your biggest "Supporter" yesterday in targeting me was just revealed as a member of Team Pied Piper. For those who don't know, the Pied Piper is a legend about a man who used a hypnotic flute to lure a bunch of children to their deaths. If PeggleFrank was playing his hypnotic flute in an attempt to attract lynch votes and suspicion, that would explain a lot of his strange behavior, illogical explanations, and cryptic poetry.

What it doesn't explain is why you, VikeStep, were so happy to go right along with Peggle's obvious insanity. And you were the only one.

Could you be another member of Team Pied Piper, or was there only one? Do you want to be lynched---and will we lose all our children if we do?

I don't think so. On both days, you've waited until someone else cast that first vote.

I am the seer of this game, last night I chose Staxed who is a villager and we have been trying to divert the attention away from me. I am probably going to die for this, but I was going to die anyways wasn't I.

I just need the bodyguard to defend me tonight and for the people to change their vote. Since I can't vote for none, I will vote for someone who won't likely be lynched.

And Eunomiac and anyone else with a role with a new name will believe me, because in this game, the seer is called the fortune teller.

Why would they know your name unless they themselves are the same role?

Well firstly, the other seer (I think there's another one) will have been told the same. Eunomiac must've been given a role which had another name and that's why he thought civilian was the correct term.
