I'm not worried about me being lynched as long as the vote is split. Vike, please don't waste your seeing powers on me or droideka. Also, it may take some last minute changes in the vote if droideka doesn't vote to lynch me as expected.

Can someone pray to the GM so this doesn't go wrong? I have the ominous Latin chanting, you just need the words.

No thank you....

... I brought my own.

Since somebody else has been posting the votes, this gives me more time to write up tonight's script.
Thank you very much

a word from the GM would be nice, it would suck if it got tied and they both get lynched...
If you want the word of god, you need only check the rules. There's one in there you know, covers this already.

(by the by, if someone wants to go back through and verify that I didn't miss a vote in my tally, that would probably be a good idea :p )

Actually, goreae (or anyone voting for Henry Link): If you could instead vote for someone totally random (vote to lynch me, I won't mind), then we won't have to rely on Jess to tie the vote. As it stands, if Jess doesn't vote in time, I won't be able to force a tie by changing my vote.

droideka30: Staxed, Henry Link, Eunomiac, GPuzzle
eunomiac: goreae

Missing: Jess887cp

There is further one other missing list. You know who you are. You are letting down the other players.

Oh, and folks, yesterday if I'd killed everybody who was short as far as the rules went, I'd have hammersmacked 6 people, of an 11 person game... that's why the game would have been ruined. Good news, there where last minute messages and people remembered they where supposed to vote, I also decided to forget about things I couldn't see. I suspect quite a few people are "Forgetting" the rules where I can't see them. This upsets me, but I can't do anything about it, other then take my ball and go home.

I'm not sure what rules people could be forgetting about...your rules are very, very liberal...we can talk about anything or anyone we want, tell them whatever we want, via convo...share information via convo, etc....as long as we don't quote it in the thread.

I'm failing to see how it's even possible to break those your rules, unless I'm missing something.

On the subject of rules: A forum game like this is extremely difficult to GM. I can't imagine how difficult it must be with eleven players and a host of complicated roles with crazy interactions. So it is imperative that we do our part, and understand the rules, so ICountFrom0 isn't driven to madness. I can see it now: We'll drive him to become ICountFrom-1, and then he'd be one attempted-square-root away from counting from a number that only exists in his imagination. (That was a math joke; you're cooler if you didn't get it.)

To summarize:

You MUST Vote (in Bold) AND List THREE (3) Targets for any Night-Power by Midnight EST, OR DIE.
  • Tied Lynch Votes are resolved randomly.
  • You may vote for "none", but you must vote (see above, re: OR DIE).
You MAY open a private conversation with anyone you want.
  • HOWEVER: You may NOT quote (or post a screenshot of) anything from any private conversation in this thread.
Immediately after YOU DIE:
  • Your role IS revealed.
  • You may NOT post.
I think that covers it?

Two quick questions regarding the rules, which I only noticed when I was doing my unnecessarily-colorful summary:
  • Can players still vote to lynch "none"? The rules suggest they can: "You may vote for none. (full stop) None my only be lynched once per game". I suspect this means that any votes for "none" basically don't count, once we've skipped a lynch?
  • Can players quote from one private conversation into another private conversation? (The rules only prohibit quoting conversations "in this thread".)

Using silly tricks to try to abstain from voting... would be trying to sneak something past the gm, don't do it.
No. Don't vote for somebody who's already dead, or not playing, and that includes a dead none.

I can't stop it, and I won't even see it. I shall try very hard to not care... so I shall make no rule about it.

Alright, I finally managed to get on the internet. I'm having a brain fart and can't count, so who do I need to vote for again? And more importantly, why?

Vote to lynch anyone other than Henry Link or Droideka30, for reasons (edited to reflect current vote tally):

Okay! Listen up, townsfolk and werepeople, here is a summary of Operation Vote-Split (no, I'm not very creative at all, am I):

Henry Link claims to be a villager who gets to stuff the ballot box with an extra vote. We can test him on this by forcing a tie in the visible votes (there are ten of us, so it's doable). If the result is a tie, then we know he's lying about his role. If our tie-vote doesn't tie, then we know he's telling the truth about his secret vote-stuffing ability, and we'll have cleared a player as a villager instead of lynching one. Everyone's happy. Well, except Droideka.

The current tally stands at:

Henry Link: 4 --- VikeStep, dgdas9, the_j485, Droideka30
Droideka30: 4 --- Staxed, Eunomiac, Henry Link, GPuzzle
Eunomiac: 1 --- goreae

There's a good chance we're lynching a villager today, people: We haven't much to go on. But if Operation Vote-Split succeeds, we'll at least gain valuable intel in the process.

Basically, if we tie, we can clear Henry Link as a villager (well, as clear as we can get, given the awesome madness of roles in this game) or catch him in a lie.

Sweet. Although, if Drodeka dies, how do we know it's from the random number goddess rather than henry's doublevote power (if he has one.)

Anyway, I suppose you're right. Euno shouldn't mind.

I vote to lynch Eunomaic.

Nightfall, Night 2
Having seen what the wolves did while they slept, there was no way to deny it, the inn was not safe. Accusations flew heated at the bonfire, sharp as a sword as tempers flared again. It wasn't until hangovers had passed, and some food had been served that everybody calmed down. A strange plan was formed, with a human sacrifice the identity of another would be confirmed. There was even a willing soul, glad to go into the darkness, if it could be done painlessly.

Onto the bar went the box. Into the box went the bark. The count was made. Two mugs of beer where brought out by the bartender. He sat with one of the guests.

They each drank, and then droideka30 slumped forward.

Droideka30 has died. In his quiver was but a single silver tipped arrow, with it he could have held off the wolves, or maybe even turned the table on one of them.
A villager has been lost.

Votes:
Henry Link: Droideka30, the_j485, VikeStep, dgdas9
droideka30: Staxed, Henry Link, Eunomiac, GPuzzle
eunomiac: goreae, Jess887cp

It was with worried thoughts that the guests of the inn went to bed. One of them was so distracted as to trip while going up the stairs. Each thought all the others to be safely in their rooms, but there was a howl, and a scream, before any had fallen asleep. Rushing downstairs a horrible thing was seen...

Henry Link, his throat torn out, and much of him unable to be identified, lay dead behind his bar. On him where additional slips of bark that he'd been using to rig the vote.
A villager has been lost.

And yet, for those who survived, this was actually a sight that gave them peace. The wolves only fed once a night. Tonight they would live. They would all see the dawn.

Day 3, 8 players remain.
