Ways you play your game that people think is crazy.

Me too! Though I think the max FPS is a limitation of my monitor, not my computer. Well, I suppose it is technically a limitation of my computer. You know what I mean.
The conditions I play in could be considered crazy.
When people walk by and you're trying to automate something in ~1 FPS, they'll give me a look that says:
"Boy, why haven't you upgraded this bucket o' bolts? This thing is 4 years old, and it's a freaking laptop! Come on man, I never allocate anything under 4 gigs of ram to FTB at any one time. And jeez, what are you making there? That ain't no Minecart, that's some kind of devilish machine! And you say it chops trees? How does it chop from the top down? And why are your computers moving? They're probably faster then the one you have here. And how are you flying like that? You don't even have creative mode on, are you cheating bro? Why does this whole paragraph have the ability to be read faster than you can advance one frame in this game? And do you even have any automation up? No?! Wow, good luck when you try to get some real energy."
But nobody walks by. And nobody would walk by and know what I was doing. So...yea.

yeah it's usually around 1-15, with tanks of 1-4.
Reason I haven't upgraded: money
singular reason. I don't have rich parents who spoil me, my job isn't anything special and I have other shit to pay for (petrol (gasoline for you yanks) is a BITCH!)

Off topic but since I am lazy where does the term Yank come from? I mean I just wondered as it is an odd term for Americans...imo
In the revolutionary war Between the Irish and the Americans, they called them Yanks. And then the americans liked it and that Yankee Doodle Dandy song came into being. Then there was baseball and the Yankees.

I build things in excess. My piping systems are so convoluted it's insane to fix sometimes.
Also my houses are tall, large towers that are added to over time for each mod I start.

A part of me doesn't want to use quarries due to the frame work. I use A turtle just with the premade excavation program. Though now I have little coal in my SMP world.
I don't use IC2 too much anymore, as opposed to when I used it as my main mod. I also play on peaceful (and sometimes with keep-inventory on easy).
I also like to be able to make progress quickly rather than grind through 24 hours of gregtech and such. People think that's crazy, they hate fun >:'c

One of my first priorities in my current FTB world was to build a pair of QuantumSuit leggings. One of my last priorities was to upgrade to a weapon other than a stone sword.
