Vineacraft: Hiatus (Not dead)

As everyone knows, i love to give updates :3

I'm entering modjam, i shall be spending ALOT of time learning java hopefully.
I have a few ideas, but everyone is happy to tell me some :3
And i know the mod ill make wont be very good, but it shal be a start :£

I think that you should have all kinds of fruit coming from vines, breedable as well.

I like the idea of the vine gun, maybe make it so it only shoots in a straight line fo convenience? And also, the vine blocks it shoots out HAVE to be climbable, so you can, for example, get into a hovering base or something cool like that.

Another thing, there needs to be a fishing rod upgrade, which makes te rod shoot straight not curved, or at least further, and can hurt mobs a lot more, a bit better than an iron sword, for example.

There must be a machine which you can put a tool into, and it will fix it with viney-ness, powered by whatever.

I've had some idea's for awhile, i plan on doing grapes some time in the future, which will just be a variation of cocoa beans.
Of course the grapes will be usable in forestry fermenters.
And last but not least, grape juice!

More or less, i will never add wine :3
I am a anti alcohol person myself, and a 14 year old adding alcohol to a minecraft mod.... is strange :3

You can make wine a powersource, it's strange, but "believable"...

Also, would anyone be intrested in a module that adds more bees/trees/butterflies that work with vines?

That would be awesome, and there should be vines that give bees and trees boosts! Such as better fertility, productivity, faster worker, longer lifespan, all that malarkey. And there should be a vine which collects honey on it, as well as that produced in the hive.

what`s your opinion on mfr fertilizer fed 2x2 jungletree farm, that yield enormous amount of vines?

Well ironically thats one of the reasons why i decided to create vineacraft, i had one of those and i coudnt think of what to do with my vines!
And my opinion is that MFR is a brutally op mod in whole.
I am going to be going for a "players can play op if they like or they can play "balanced" " kinda like EE and of course there will be configs for different recipes.

Make balanced the default option in the configs, or else people will set up servers and they'll try to run the default version of Vineacraft on them without knowing the importance of changing the configs.

I've had this happen far too many times on different servers.

well, i understand you`r intentions, and kinda feel same :)
however, my concern is: would you take such mfr farm into account, when setting mod "by default"?

How i "plan" on having it is:

Default: "Balanced" this is where its not to cheap or expensive.
GregHard: Well, as hard as gregtech on hard.
Easy:Everything is very cheap.

And everything would be interchangable, with a "custom" setting if you want cheap for one thing and greghard for another.

And if anyone is asking what i personally would use, more than likely GregHard :3

To be honest, i would not take into account for that, its the common problem of mod interaction, without butchering anything i would have to ignore it.
But i may change my opinion when the times comes, who knows

May i ask one simple question to everyone.
From what you have heard of the mod so far, would you play with it?

i see. just try not fall into cross-mod balance trap and make things reliant on other mods.
