That problem was resolved already in this very thread. Plus watching a vanilla player explain mods is frustrating.
In fairness you have to play vanilla to play mods. That problem was resolved already in this very thread. Plus watching a vanilla player explain mods is frustrating.
It is still frustrating. Watching someone like SkyDoesMinecraft explain mods is hell IMOIn fairness you have to play vanilla to play mods.
That's not exactly true. Look at Direwolf. In fairness you have to play vanilla to play mods.
I'm sure even DW started with Vanilla, because logic. That's not exactly true. Look at Direwolf.
But by the way DW plays, you would think he barely spent a day on vanilla before proceeding to modded.I'm sure even DW started with Vanilla, because logic.
I haven't played Vanilla in a long time, beyond a brief dip into 1.7 to see what was new, but I have a very long history with it before I met a couple of guys who introduced me to modded MC.
That was my first major project, and probably the one I'm still proudest of, inside and out; finished (solo, by hand) November 2011, at least on the outside. One entire internal floor is devoted to an indoor garden and fields, and half the bottom is storerooms.
...A whole real day? Or a whole Minecraft day?But by the way DW plays, you would think he barely spent a day on vanilla before proceeding to modded.
Heh, I'm like that now. On the new server, my friends are just up to alumite tools and settling down in a permanent place. I have 2200 diamonds =PBut by the way DW plays, you would think he barely spent a day on vanilla before proceeding to modded.
I dunno. He's actually really good with a bow (which in mods he never, never uses) and decent at parkour. He could just be a talented gamer in general though. But by the way DW plays, you would think he barely spent a day on vanilla before proceeding to modded.

I didn't see that it was "resolved" - someone said it worked, someone else said it didn't work. Seeing it on a video finally proves it. Or was netmc talking about a different staff? I know nothing about staves. That problem was resolved already in this very thread. Plus watching a vanilla player explain mods is frustrating.
I only played vanilla for about 10 minutes before moving on to mods.I'm sure even DW started with Vanilla, because logic.

Hey! Etho's the one who actually got me interested in modded minecraft in the 1st place! Of course, that was back in 1.4.7 before the Mindcrackers abandoned FTB for the updated vanilla minecraft. It does feel weird to be more advanced at this point than many of the youtubers I watch. That problem was resolved already in this very thread. No. Keep as many items opposite each other as you can, just leave one pedestal empty. Set up a hopper with a spare item in pointing at each pedestal, and a dirt block to overwrite flux goo with plus a shovel to remove it with after. Add more candles, crystals, etc. for more stability. And make sure you have PLENTY of aspects, as it uses more of you take time to fix the pedestals.I'm trying to do the Silverwood Rod infusion. Silverwood has 7 outer components. Everything I've read states the items need to be placed symmetrical to avoid... errors.... How do?
Do I remove the altars from one side and place a single one in the "middle"?
The Hoppers are to replace any items that fall off of the pedestals, which makes using hoppers really smart for infusion. Cuts down on wasted infusion time.hrmm... hadn't thought of using hoppers to replace knocked off items.. I'll have to try that.. I'm guessing the hoppers don't affect the process? or the dirt they pace if there's taint?
Now about this dirt and shovel thing to deal with taint... In my hotbar ready to go? or?? Sorry, noobish questions I know
