Actually a look at my barrel tower's telling me that my sapling supply is finally dropping. Thank god.

I just made a turtle build a 9x9 dirt platform every fourth block, then had a turtle place water in a spiral pattern four times per dirt platform, then placed water and then sugarcane. I now have a 150m tall tower set of four towers of sugarcane, which is WAY more sugarcane than I need now. Which means more boilers... Oh gods, it never ends!

Yeah, the boilers really present more problems than they solve, eh?

And I wouldn't go without them as they are extremely amusing to use. A small forest of them with steam turbines lining their tops sounds great to me!

A small forest? Dude, once I'm done building that, it'll look like the bloody breeding fields from the Matrix. Heck! I even got a nifty little wasteland biome nearby!

One of the strange things I found out is that this:

Works. I didn't plan for this in any way but this here is so delicately balanced that I couldn't do it better even if I tried.

As I've said before, I've got two still systems. 4 fermenters and 16 stills each. 2 stills short (as MilConDoin mentioned) from the max output.

This feeds the water in just slow enough for the apple juice to flow in continually and chokes the fermenters to keep the 16 stills perfectly balanced. Unless I get lucky with apples, then the systems fills up for a little bit, but always balances out again.

Lucky for me, I had a huge tank lying around empty.

Oh and I'm almost out of sapplings for now :). Maybe it's time to get rid of that old barrel of redwood saplings, eh?

What process are you guys using to move the sawdust from the sawmills and make charcoal out of it? auto crafting table to a powered furnance? How do you deal with overflow?
I'm storing my sawdust in barrels and compressing the woodpulp into wood plates.
I have 6 thermal expansion sawmills setup with 3 turning the wood logs into planks and 3 of them turning the planks into wood pulp which then gets compressed into the plates.
I would get more energy by simply burning the planks but when your dealing with more than 20k logs in storage space becomes an issue lmao.

Feed all that energy (>12k MJ) into magma crucibles producing lava. Feed that lava into a 64x64 quarry hole (RP2 grate) and watch the lava rise. Go away for a bit to do other stuff. Come back and OH GOD LAVA EVERYWHERE.

Toss a forcefield around my base, do that.

The world is now lava.

Heck, if I did that, on a server, the owner would find me, kill my family, torture me, and kill me.

How about doing that, in the nether. Just put down some geothermals, some pumps, and some forcefields to keep the lava away from the main public nether portal... See if you can single handedly keep up with the hunger for lava of the entire server.
