Setup your Portal Spawner to work with Redstone signals, and use Wireless Transmitter/Receiver to active it.
This.

Pair it up with another one in your base, hook both up to a single button, make the button also stop your bore temporarily.

Hit the button, jump trough, voila.

Heck, do the same thing for the other side.

I havent tested it recently, but linking books only resieved they link to coordiantes when they where crafted by a player and entered their inventory, so you might ind up with a ton of books that either doesnt work, or link to the location where you first thouched the book. i

I'm going to test this when I get some time.

AFAIK, teleportation and frames wise, portal spawners are the only ones that work. Mystcraft are linked to the first time the book enters a players inventory, and IC2 teleporters link to the original coordinates (which means that they're a fine way of getting back, if you cart to the machine).

I've used a frame-building railmaker before, and they are quite effective.

So, I've really become attached to the idea of redpower frame tunnel bores, however the problem that I can't think of a way around is how to get to it for trouble shooting because I designed it wrong or something like that.

I tried using portal spawners on it, but they keep on breaking and not allowing me to teleport to it.

I can run down the tunnel to get to them, but that is now starting to involve a 4000+ trek, and not really wanting to do that.. so are there alternative methods to teleport to them?
I built a similar machine and was also having problems with the portal spawner constantly dying on the frame miner. I think I've managed to fix the problem. I upped the number of chunks loaded by the chicken chunk loader. I had it on circle step 2 and bumped it up to circle step 3 (not sure how many chunks that is) that seemed to fix the problem. I think the portal spawner kept dying because of going out side of loaded chunks. I mashed F9 and noticed my machine was right on a chunk boundary with everything but the portal spawner in one chunk and the portal spawner in another. Next time I will mash F9 before building and make sure the machine all fits into one chunk width then I can put the chunk loader on line of chunks loaded.

to teleport though it costs 22 ghast tears 23 enderpearls and 23 blaze rods and 18 emeralds and [give or take on everything but the ghast tears] You should be able to make yourself a wrath eye and wrath node. You can link your wrath eye to the wrath node and teleport to it.

Never tried it with the frames but eh, its a teleportation system i use [because im going through a 'no machine phase'

It binds to the location of the node, so a moving node would require the wraith eye rebinding to it. Could possibly be done with a deployer/ender chest setup for fun.
