Yes, if done slowly enough. Slowing down the Earth is much easier than speeding it up because of the vast difference in power required to cause the change we are looking for. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it again, our biggest issue is going to be keeping the moon during this process. The best way to deal with that would be to store the moon until we have stabilized the Earth's slower orbit, and then do the same thing for the moon.

DW20 is from America though...

That is what I'm getting, which has nothing to do with your browser but Youtube's way of verifying your location (checking your IP's geographical location, most likely) and then, depending on the copyright requirements, disallowing you access to the video.
It's another great reason to have an offshore proxy server.

The modpack will be Direwolf20 with Gregtech installed on the side.
EDIT: Easy Mode Gregtech, mind you.
EDIT 2: Back on Morv's server, we had Mindcrack modified: Mystcrat, Portal Gun, THaumic Bees, EE3 put in and Petrol Gen and the Voxel stuff taken out. I think it easier to just exchange DW20 Compact Solars with Advanced Solars and add in Gregtech.
EDIT 3: Advanced Solars has the same block ID as Compact Solars, so exchanging them is a piece of cake.

with the impending arrival of the Ultimate pack, why don't you wait and use that instead?

Just note. If your not using one of the packs right off the launcher you will have to walk all your users through making the same additions you did for the server.

Let me give in detail: Removed InvTweaks and ChickenChunks for the crashes they cause me.
Removed Compact Solars and Put in Advanced Solars. Download Velotican's Ultimate Config Pack. Add Gregtech to the DW20. Exchange the Gregtech configs with the default Gregtech Configs from Velotican's pack. Poof.

This all sounds easy in a few lines of text, do note that anyone wanting to have a go at playing on your server will have to follow these steps to even get onto your server.

This means either copying stuff over to make a new install, or invalidating one of their current FTB installs just for your server.

Now I don't mean to discourage you, just be warned of the fact that any change made to default configs, any at all, will discourage people from joining :/
