I am starting with Monster and I am backing out everything that is not on Santa's list. I start the launcher with showing gthe console and it quits on me mid load and the consol quits on me to so I don't have the ability to copy paste the log. Not sure what to do here.

FYI for the best way to charge the suite in this scenario...
From Muse's website:
How do I charge it??

  • Industrialcraft 2 generators/batbox/MFE/MFSU
  • Universal Electricity generators/batboxes
  • Thermal Expansion energetic infuser
  • MPS-Addons portable generator modules
  • Use the LV/MV/HV capacitors as disposable batteries

Monster about has everything on his list. I don't know how to build packs.
The mods are also outdated, and Monster doesn't include a lot of the mods in my list.
All of my wat
Building packs is easy, especially when the configs are done up for you. You could just ask @SatanicSanta for a dl of his configs.
Yeah I'll dropbox the configs if you want :p

True... But there were several mods in your list I wasn't interested in. Monster had the ones I wanted from the list plus AE, waila, MFR (help procure resources if for nothing else) and like or 2 others.

How do I make my own pack? What do I do with the configs?

AE and MFR, and like or 2 others.
I mean, the whole point of my pack was so I wouldn't use things like that (specifically MFR), and focus on RoC, but if you say so.

Then don't install them?

1. Make a vanilla instance
2. Run it to the main screen, then shut it down
3. Install the latest Forge version on said instance
4. Run it to the main screen, then shut it down again
5. Add mods and configs

easy there... My focus is also on RoC. I just wanted it as a backup. MFR (as much as I dislike its simplicity, it does resolve the 2 greatest PITA for me... Enchanting and end pearl gathering). I don't want your pack. I was thinking of using your list as a guideline.

Guess what? I'm not.

1. Make a vanilla instance

4. Run it to the main screen, then shut it down again
5. Add mods and configs
I apologize on my ignorance here... Vanilla instance... like get a clean 1.6.4 jar, put a 1.6.4 forge mod ontop of it and then add in 1.6.4 mods of the latest?

I'll go through this with MultiMC.
  1. Install MultiMC
  2. Make an instance with the new instance button and select 1.6.4
  3. Click the edit instance button
  4. Click Install Forge
  5. Pick the Forge release you want, latest works best IMO.
  6. Install the mods and drop them into the mods folder. (MMC generates the mod folder on install)
  7. Select all the config files
  8. Drop them in the config folder
  9. Boot up
  10. Do you get ID conflicts? If so, go on. If not, end.
  11. Install IDFix Minus
Normally I wouldn't tell people to install IDFix, but I can't make a resolving ID conflicts guide right now.

Hence "if you say so".

But yeah... I would love to have your configs if your offering.
if you're using Monster, my configs won't do you much good, since the majority of the mods in Monster are outdated compared to mine. You're better off just using the universal configs.

I understand... I am now currently trying my hand at trajing's suggestion. Mostly because I don't know how outdated monster is, I'm going to look for the lastest versions of the mods.. So if the offer still stands...
This is what I intend on being in my list:
autoutils
Bibliocraft
BC
chickchunks
chisel
Codechickcore
denlib
denpipes
denPipes-emerald
dragonapi
Electricraft
enderstorage
expanded redstone
InvTweek
Ironchest
Modpowersuits
Mystcraft
neiaddons
NEIPlugins
NEI
Numina
Powersuitaddons
RC
RoC
Twilight Forest
Waila
WR=CBE
Zansmap

MFR seemed to be the hang up so no matter. Going to also add AE if I can.
