You want a challenge? In rftools 3.20 you can get one:

Jitty, I'm a big fan of these "negative" cost dimlets you provide :)

Is this one easily exploitable if people play in Peaceful mode?

Perhaps. Although the dimlet is still rare and it is not craftable in any way.

Its not much of a solution, but I wonder if its possible to prevent its spawning while in peaceful mode.

Basically a non-issue. Looks cool sir.

Well it is slightly less rare then the efficiency dimlet which gives 20% bonus. So I don't really think this is a problem. It is just a worse version of the efficiency dimlet if you are in peaceful

Do you have a list of what you can do with Patreon dims? I'm interested but would like to know how flexible you are.

The effects that I'm currently doing in the already implemented Patreon dimlets:
  • Fireworks that randomly spawn around players
  • Spawn platform in different shapes and colors
  • Different moon/sun textures
  • Random pink pillars scattered over the world
  • Terrain made out of random colored wool
  • Colored stained glass pyramids scattered over the terrain
Other things that I didn't do yet but are easily possible:
  • Different types of sky
  • Other small random structures generated in the world
As long as it is a cosmetic effect that doesn't give you a real benefit it can be done.

Yes. I have considered that. Will probably happen at some point.
Excellent! I recently threw together a modpack of mods with TE-based recipes (and Project Red's wire and logic gates, because I love red alloy wire so much more than redstone dust), and I was disappointed that RFTools didn't have that. But I just started a Resonant Rise instance plus Galacticraft, so I think I'll be getting into the mod there.

I am having problems using the Block Protector on Machines that open up a GUI when you attempt to R-click with a Smart Wrench. Any tips? The Ender IO conduits are a pain as well but I have been able to work that out.

Thanks!

Doesn't shift-right-click with the wrench work?

Nope. Minefactory Reloaded machines are what I'm trying to protect.

I am using version 3.11 through Infinity 1.8.2

There's also the Draconic Evolution grinder (Right Click opens the GUI, Shift+Right Click triggers the effect that shows the grinder's range). Perhaps there should be a mode where left-clicking with the wrench works as well (which should work for anything that doesn't have zero hardness).

Ender IO conduits are also a major issue (it's possible but VERY hard when you have multiple conduits bundled in the same block).

One workaround with those, however, is to just place a single Ender IO conduit on its own, protect it, then shift-wrench it with a normal wrench to remove the conduit (this bypasses the block protector's protection). It is then possible to place any block within the protected block space (such as placing all of the desired conduits, or the DE grinder, or MFR machines, etc.), and that block will be protected from being destroyed. Just note that you're not going to be able to unprotect the block, so the only way to remove it is to either remove the block protector or drain its energy.

The conduit trick worked nicely. Thank you! I like the L Click mode idea.

Big fan of the mod. Keep up the great work!
