yes, i want to see that. I'm for a intermediate config, with easy reiepes for regular stuff (metal blocks crafting, macerator & co, ...) and hard reciepes for the powerful stuff (Irridium plate, mining laser, matterfab, ...)
I finished uploading the images. I've to sort it all.
Here is my home on my test world. it was made in vanilla some time ago, then imported to FTB, and i used some spare rooms to make the power room, the machine room, the thaum room, the storage room, and i remade all the lighting, with button controled lights. My best building so far.

Thanks for the awesome acceptance email! I would love to help with balancing the configs. For example removing the ruby and saphire lapotron and energy crystal recipes and balancing the forestry config to match gregtech such as making the tin can recipe produce 3. Also, can the server not have power converters it feels out of place becuase there is a steam to eu converter ( and others) when we already have the railcraft steam turbine for that. That's just me talking though. PS im mre of a hardcore player and i love balanced gameplay! PPS This is peach774/ Prof. Wolfe!
What does the unificator targets in config file mean? i.e Forestry: False Railcraft: False Redpower: True
I'll look at the config later. I'm doing some awesome application.
Railcraft is for crafting mixed metal ingots in a rolling machine, Forestry is the bronze nerf and RedPower spawns the gems (GT ores do make them fall, thus explaining some recipes such as the saphire Lapotron crystal.

I was thinking of giving explanations to magic mods and I came to the following conclusion on TC3:
Vis and Flux are like pollution. Areas with less Flux are less poluted. That explain wisps and golems.
Xeno's could be what came from a long, lost civilization who developed serums and guns.
EE3 is arguibly the most complicated one to come with an explanation, but it basically works a la Full Metal Alchemist.
MystCraft... Maybe the books are like that machine from AC that reads memory.
Still writing. I've already applied for a vanilla RP server some time ago, but now, i'm writing the biggest application and RP i ever made.
It's an epic wall of text. I hope you will be able to digest it.
I think we could have devlopped the guns ourselves. For the other stuff, the lost civilisation is a good idea.

True, this is true.
I like your thinking; an alternative idea might be (if you've played Bioshock Infinite) that scientific experiments have opened doors to other universes, and their contents (magic stuff) have leaked through the doors into our own.
My application contains a lot of RP theory on mods, especially mystcraft. I'm about to finish it. It's a OMFGWTF wall of text.
