I wonder how many more months people can keep saying '1-2 weeks away, keep your hopes up!'.. If these donations and her announcement of having enough money to get a few days of unpaid leave don't squish out two bugs.. Hoo boy. My faith in humanity will need a box of kittens to cheer it up.

Ummmm, I think theres supposed to be a minecraft update around new years, so it will only be out for 10 days.... what then? another 6 months? PLZ NOOOOO! ALSO I SHOULD JUST KILL MYSELF NOW IF THERES NO REDPOWER BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS! XD (i bet someone has said this before me, but idc, i just had to :) )

Fireworks and nether brick slabs and other stuff won't break the code very much, unlike the 1.3 update. 1.3 broke every single mod very badly, and some are still recovering (Redpower). It was like a punch in the face from Chuck Norris to all the mod makers.
 
The Redstone update following 1.4.6 will likely exacerbate modder issues, what with the introduction of analog signal strength. At the same time, it will add some much needed robustness to the crude vanilla redstone.
 
wow... respect for CaptainSparklez just went up an awful lot... that is so close it's unreal... super amount of talent!
 
I have suspected RedPower to take a while do to the fact that it is such a widespread and complex mod. If we give her time to update without bugging her (even though everybody, including me, is anxious), Elo would probably update faster. lets just leave her alone for the time being.
