Why is it being corrupted? Mod changes/updates? You should only have to replace the missing/changed items, IIRC.
I dont know exactly here-

It is any time I add mods or change anything...

He's literally saying breaking the law is okay.

Why....? Is it federally illegal to distribute your mod without perms? I always thought it was a socially encouraged thing, not legal or illegal.

Not going to happen, and that would be one thing I would crash on, as it has no legitimate use.
lolz What if I want to make your recipes cheaper though? ;) We were messing with ya. It took kinda long for that summoning though

@1SDAN I think we performed the sacrifice on an odd Tuesday instead of the third Monday this time. :(

He is talking about copyrights. Try as a portion of the internet - including most of the "LOL pack perms" crowd - may, they are a real thing that can seriously f*** you over if you disregard them. There is a reason that those mod repost sites are hosted in places like Vietnam, Turkey, Russia, and Colombia.

In most European and American countries, it's illegal. I could sue that guy for this... :p
Really? Why... Where is the law? Pirating is not really taken seriously, and I'm pretty sure free Minecraft Modifications would not be considered a thing, when photoshop was not either, and it cost so much...

As long as the discussion remains civil, which it currently is, there is no issue.

Has there ever been a case where a mod dev sued, won and gained anything in the history of minecraft ever? I would not think so.... Rules on the inter-webs are lax over things like Swatting still....

I have taken down mirrors of my mods using DMCA takedown notices.

And that is why I like the ISH, it's a complete Anarchial Utopia...

My point is not really if it is legal or not, more so what has anyone ever done about it... I would not think it is worth it, when other software is pirated that is worth money. A free mod does not seems as important....
We have about 250-300k reach on Twitter and 32k views on MCF.

Personally, I just like how we can do things here on the ISH without forming concrete universal laws and such, every website is like it's own little nation, with unique laws and rulers. Please do not get any real world countries involved.
